Fraser Suites Hanoi

The kitchen in the room was a great experience. Having a coffee shop, restaurant, and supermarket downstairs was super convenient, especially when it was pouring rain and we could just pop downstairs for a meal! It's also not too far by car from Lotte Mall and the Old Quarter, which is great for shopping.

There are many great restaurants right next to the hotel, around the lake. You'll find Italian pizza, handmade burgers, pubs, and the atmosphere is lovely too. There are two supermarkets right at the hotel entrance, making grocery shopping very convenient. Plus, Lotte Mart is about a 25-minute walk from the hotel. The sidewalks can be a bit narrow, which might make walking a little uncomfortable. There's also a 'K Market' right in front of the hotel where you can buy Korean food and beverages. The hotel's gym facilities aren't bad; they have most of the essential equipment. However, breakfast is a bit lacking; I only ate fruit. Due to ongoing construction around the hotel, traffic gets very congested when returning to the hotel during rush hour. For those who need gifts, there's a Pop Mart inside Hanoi Center, about a 15-minute taxi ride away.

Second stay here, and the breakfast was excellent as always.

Nice apartment, staff were almost too friendly. Extensive breakfast. There was a washing machine with detergent, which was a huge help. There's a small mall in the building, and everything else is nearby.

I stayed here for a business trip. The hotel is located by West Lake, a bit tucked away, so you have to go around to get to the city center. However, if you're planning to enjoy West Lake or have an itinerary centered around it, the location is absolutely perfect. The accommodation is very clean, and the service is excellent. That being said, there's currently major construction happening right in front of the hotel, so there's nowhere to walk around nearby, which is a definite drawback to keep in mind.

During my 3-day stay, there were a few minor issues, but thanks to the two staff members at the reception, I left with only good memories. The breakfast and the fitness facilities were also excellent.

I've stayed at many hotels, but this was by far the worst. We stayed in the old wing, and while I don't mind outdated facilities, there was a general trash-like smell, and a particularly strong stench emanating from the toilet. The air conditioner filter was full of dust, which was incredibly frustrating to see every time. The noise was also unbelievably loud until the late hours of the morning. During my 5-day stay, there was nothing good to eat for breakfast, and with so many Japanese expatriates around, it was chaotic from 6 AM. Plus, there's major construction right next to the hotel, so it's a mess of dust and dirt. Walking around is impossible. I absolutely do not recommend this place for a vacation. It felt more suitable as accommodation for expatriate workers.
