Ancient Huiyuan City

Huiyuan City was built by the Qing government in 1763. Until 1881, Huiyuan was the political and military center of Xinjiang and the first of the nine cities of Yili. It is also the most well-preserved ancient city of the Qing Dynasty in Xinjiang. There are scenic spots such as the Yili General's Mansion, Huiyuan Ancient City Exhibition Hall, Confucian Temple, Bell and Drum Tower in the ancient city. There is not only the Huiyuan Ancient City with profound historical and cultural heritage, but also the first batch of "China Rural Tourism Model Village" named-Yangbulak Folk Village. Yangbulak is a folk village with the characteristics of Huocheng. It has a courtyard with Yili rural folk characteristics to provide tourists with accommodation, food, singing and dancing performances and other experiences.
