Mechari Hotel (Qingdao Zhanqiao Zhongshan Road Subway Station)

This stay exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff were warm, patient, and efficient during check-in. The room was spotless with no strange odors, the bedding was soft, and the room was fully equipped with all necessary amenities. Whenever we had questions, the staff were very helpful and responsive. Great value for money and a top choice for accommodation—highly recommended!

The room was very clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. I booked it temporarily for my family to visit the municipal hospital for a check-up, and I didn't expect everything to turn out so well. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we come for a trip.

This place was truly terrible. The room was cracked and moldy, nothing like the pictures on the homepage. You don't enter through the lobby; instead, you go up through a residential building from the back, with no elevator and a very confusing layout. I asked the front desk to switch rooms, only to find the new room was even worse than the moldy one – the window wouldn't open and seemed to be shared with the third floor. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, but only saw a cleaning lady on the first day, who then took out the trash. For the next 4 days, no one handled the trash, nor did they provide toilet paper or towels. Luckily, we brought enough tissues, otherwise, we would have been out of luck. The bathroom had a strange odor, likely because the room couldn't be ventilated. The soundproofing was also terrible; I could hear dialogue from the TV show next door at night. All in all, avoid this place at all costs!!! This is my honest experience!!

Our room on the second floor was very quiet. The front desk staff were super helpful and even carried our luggage up to the room. They had a great attitude! The room's cleanliness was decent, and I liked that the toilet and shower were separate. The room was quite smart, though I found the smart toilet a bit too smart for me to figure out how to use! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Zhongshan Road, within walking distance, and only about 150 meters from Zhongshan Road Metro Station, making it convenient to get anywhere.

The room's location is excellent, with convenient transport links. The hotel service is exceptionally good; it's a great find. Other hotels in this area are very expensive, so I really scored a bargain this time. Very good, indeed!
