Mechari Hotel (Qingdao Zhanqiao Zhongshan Road Subway Station)

Seriously misleading photos – the actual room looked nothing like the pictures. The front desk was in a completely different building from the rooms. The main door to our room building was left open day and night; they said it would be locked in the evenings and require a key card, but it was still open when we returned late. No elevator, and the stairs from the second to third floor were a winding maze. And the cleanliness? Even worse. There were hair strands from the previous guest neatly laid out on the bed. Oh, and the window? You wouldn't believe it, it was completely out of reach. We only stayed because our child was too tired to bother with finding another hotel. We thought about moving the next night, but then decided against it since we had an early train to catch. But honestly, this place was just ridiculous.

The toilet wouldn't flush; the bathroom flooded and stayed that way for two days.

The room type is perfect for a large family vacation. It's a great room, and the price is quite reasonable. With two king beds, it can comfortably sleep a family of 6. The environment is also decent, and the location is pretty good too.

I booked a room here for my prenatal check-up at the municipal hospital. I originally reserved a family room, but the lovely lady at the front desk kindly upgraded us to a loft with two king beds for free, which was a great experience. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The location is very convenient, close to the subway station, and just one stop from the train station. The decor is new, and the rooms are very clean. The cafe on the first floor is cozy and the coffee is delicious.

The hotel is easy to find with convenient and quick transportation; navigation leads directly to the front door. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and patiently answer all inquiries. The hotel's cleanliness is also excellent. Highly recommended.
