Great place to go and enjoy nature. Easily accessible from Fuzhou by car (about 1hr) or by train (Yongtai station). It’s near enough to do a day trip from Fuzhou. But plenty of accommodation in Yongtai, especially hot spring hotels, invite for a great overnight stay. The mountain park is easy to walk, with great views of waterfalls and cave passes. It is possible to walk it through in half day. But you can definitely spend a whole day as well, making stops at every view spot or just relaxing by waterfallsIdeal way of getting there is driving by yourself, however using public transport is possible too. There’s always somebody at the gate of the park who could help you arrange a transport if needed. I very much enjoyed my time there. It’s a great place, I definitely recommend.
