Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nishi-Shinjuku PREMIER

Excellent. It's very new and clean, with white decor. I actually thought it was a newly opened hotel. Great value for money. Even though it's by the road, it's not noisy at all; the soundproofing of the windows is excellent. The only minor issue is that the curtains don't block out much light. The lobby is also beautiful.

It was okay, but the location wasn't super convenient. You had to take one subway stop to Shinjuku.

The hotel room is small, but the location is great and the surroundings are nice. It's convenient for getting to Ginza and Shinjuku, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby.

The location is truly excellent. I stayed here for one night, then another night after a one-night break, and it was still super convenient. Plus, you can leave large luggage at the hotel. It's also very close to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, and I even went up to enjoy a staff lunch there, which was affordable, delicious, and had amazing views!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Nishi-Shinjuku subway station. It's surrounded by office buildings, making the hotel particularly quiet. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Shinjuku's bustling commercial area. The hotel offers a self-service laundry room at a reasonable price, and there's a 7-Eleven convenience store on the basement floor. The only downside is the somewhat inefficient room layout; upon entering, there's a narrow, long corridor that feels like wasted space. Additionally, the bathroom door should really be a sliding door.

What a pleasant surprise! For a hotel that's a bit older, both the service and facilities are truly commendable. **Facilities:** While a little dated, the overall facilities are very comprehensive and everything is in working order. The hairdryer is a Rafa, which I hear isn't cheap. **Cleanliness:** Excellent, on par with the Mitsui Garden Hotel we stayed at. **Environment:** The hotel environment is very nice. Although the bathroom is large, the room is a bit on the smaller side, but still perfectly fine for two people. The hotel lobby has a Japanese minimalist style with wooden decor that gives it a warm feeling. The hotel is about 800m walk from Shinjuku center, which is an acceptable distance. Precisely because it's not right in the center, the area around the hotel is very quiet. **Service:** The service was very enthusiastic, and they provided many complimentary items like drip coffee, mouthwash, and bath salts, which I really appreciated. The hotel's breakfast was very generous, primarily Western-style. The freshly baked pancakes, in particular, were incredibly soft and melted in your mouth, and delicious with the wide variety of toppings available. All in all, the breakfast was excellent and highly recommended.

This hotel is located in the high-rise district of Nishi-Shinjuku, near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and Shinjuku Central Park, giving it a new city CBD feel. The location is good, quiet yet central. However, you'll need to take one extra stop to Nishi-Shinjuku or walk 15 minutes to Shinjuku Station to get anywhere. The hotel itself is a decent, typical four-star business hotel. The advantages are that the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the room size is not small for Tokyo, plus there's a desk and chair. The downside is that the breakfast selection is limited and not very tasty, so I recommend eating out.
