DongFengYun Hotel Mi'Le - MGallery Collection

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The architecture is really artistic, and its location right inside the scenic area is super convenient. The swimming pool is fantastic, and they even included complimentary tickets to the scenic area and professionally edited photos. In the evening, we watched the fountain and drone show, and even caught some fireworks from our room. The hotel's restaurant serves dinner with a strong flavor profile, but breakfast was quite good. During dinner, there was a singer who performed both English and Chinese songs, creating a great atmosphere.

The hotel is connected to the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, offering great views. It includes complimentary scenic area tickets, allowing guests to enter and exit the area freely during their stay. There are kaleidoscope-view rooms at Dongfengyun, and the hotel's architecture is quite interesting, perfect for photoshoots. The hotel's Chinese restaurant serves good food, and the overall service is prompt. The rooms are comfortable, with the only drawback being low water pressure in the shower.

Facilities: Well-equipped. Service: The service is also very good. There are shuttle buggies available to take you to the hot springs or local attractions. Environment: The hotel environment is lovely, with a strong sense of design and unique character. The surrounding area is quite open and undeveloped, so you'll need to take a taxi or drive about 10 km for dining and entertainment. The grape sightseeing avenue leading directly to the city center has no streetlights, so please drive with caution at night. Lastly, a quick complaint about the hotel breakfast—it really doesn't match the hotel's price point; there is little variety and the food isn't good. Also, I actually saw someone flying a drone outside the balcony. That is completely inappropriate.

MGallery offered a uniquely refreshing way to experience Mile—away from the crowds and the hustle and bustle. It was a truly healing 4-day, 3-night getaway. Everything was wonderful, from the hot springs to the fine wine and delicious food. The kids had a blast, and the adults could fully unwind and relax. A fantastic trip all around!

Overall, it was pretty good and very relaxing. The hotel has a photo spot similar to the one used by Zhang Gong, which is great for taking pictures. The room had an excellent view, overlooking the scenic area and the Dongfengyun kaleidoscope. Plus, the hand soap and shower gel smelled lovely. As for dining, I tried the hotel's breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner. The afternoon tea was beautiful and perfect for photos, though a bit too sweet. The Dai-style wild fruit hotpot for dinner was very unique, but I'd suggest changing the chicken in the side dishes. Also, there weren't many entertainment options at the hotel; I only saw a pottery workshop. Luckily, on the weekend, there were drone shows and fireworks.

Maitreya is truly a wonderful place, and the hotel is located within the scenic area. Upon check-in, you get complimentary tickets to Dongfengyun and access to a shuttle bus. The hotel is genuinely beautiful and has been selected as one of the top 100 most design-conscious hotels in Asia for 2025. You can tell at first glance that it's meticulously designed, with all the scenery thoughtfully arranged. From the inside out, it exudes a very healing atmosphere. There are also many small paths within the hotel worth exploring.

The environment and service are excellent. Every staff member at the hotel is friendly and professional. Highly recommended! The gym facilities are a bit limited; it would be even better if they had a rowing machine and stair climber.

The hotel is right within the scenic area, and the overall experience was great. As an Accor Gold member, we even received a welcome drink. **Room:** We booked a suite with 1 king-sized bed + 2 single beds, and two soaking tubs. Taking a bath in the room at night, looking up at the night sky (we even saw the drone rehearsal for Concert #3), was truly enjoyable. **Environment:** Absolutely amazing for photos. **Dining:** It was fully booked during the National Day holiday, so while breakfast was abundant, it was also incredibly crowded. We also had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, opting for a set meal for four. The lamb, chicken soup, and sea bass were all quite delicious. **Summary:** The hotel is excellent, and the staff are very warm and professional. However, I'd definitely recommend visiting when there are fewer people for an even better overall experience.
