Daolang Town of Paintings

The Daolang Painting Village Cultural Tourism Attraction is located in Kumukusar Township, 7 kilometers south of Maigaiti County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Scenic spots include the Taklimakan Desert Adventure Memorial Hall, Daolang Peasant Painting Creation and Exhibition Center, Scholar and Tourist Reception Center, Daolang Peasant Painter Village, Daolang Singing and Dancing Performance Plaza, Daolang Specialty Dining Plaza and Folk Handicraft Street. It is a Daolang Peasant Painting Tourism Attraction that integrates creation, training, display, sales, folk customs experience, ethnic specialty Dining, Daolang Muqam boutique music appreciation, and tourist Souvenir production.

"Daolang Painting Village" was named "Chinese Folk Culture and Art Village" by the Ministry of Culture twice in 1996 and 2008. There are more than 300 well-known painters and more than 800 painting enthusiasts. In recent years, more than 5,000 works of various types have been created, of which more than 2,800 works have been exhibited at home and abroad many times and published in various newspapers and magazines. More than 1,000 works have been collected by well-known exhibition halls at home and abroad, and more than 10 works have won awards in the Shanghai Folk Painting Exhibition and the China Contemporary Folk Painting Exhibition in Jiaxing, Zhejiang; more than 30 works have been published in various publications; more than 1,800 works have been exhibited at home and abroad many times. Among them, four works such as "Singing Competition" and "Farmer's Joy" created by farmer painter Reheman Apizi won the gold medal at the Paris International Art Exhibition in France and are now treasured in the French International Culture and Art Museum.
