The Liudingshan Cultural Tourism Area is located in the southern suburbs of Dunhua. Nestled among mountains and rivers with surrounding peaks, it presents a magnificent landscape.
Liudingshan Cultural Tourism Area is very large, and you can travel between attractions by shuttle.
The attraction also features two major highlights: the Qing Dynasty Ancestral Culture Museum and the ancient tombs. If time permits, you can continue exploring these sites.
The Balhae Kingdom ancient tombs are located in the Dingding Mountain area northwest of the attraction. In 698 AD, Dae Jo-yeong, leader of the Mohe Sumo tribe, established the Jin Kingdom in Dunhua, which was later granted the title "King of Balhae" by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang and lasted over 200 years. As the early royal mausoleum of Balhae, the Dingding Mountain tomb complex features simple yet integrated architecture that blends with the mountainous landscape. Today, visitors can explore two tomb sections containing over 100 graves of various sizes. Particularly valuable artifacts include the stone lions and epitaphs excavated from Princess Jeonghye's tomb.

Show More ReviewsLiudingshan Scenic Area boasts beautiful scenery and the Zhengjue Temple is a popular place of worship. This year, due to the summer floods, there were no lotus flowers in Shenglian Lake, and the hydrangeas on the lakeside were not blooming as well as in previous years. However, this did not dampen my spirits at Liudingshan.
