Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel

The hotel is located in the Old Town. When I initially booked it, a platform oversight meant I didn't get a detailed understanding of the room types. I was shocked that a 5-star hotel would have rooms resembling Hong Kong's 'coffin homes.' I had booked for two nights but ended up fleeing after just one. The person who checked me in on the first day suggested we could leave (without explicitly stating that the second night's booking couldn't be canceled). When I actually checked out the next day, a different staff member said I couldn't get a refund, claiming the previous night's receptionist didn't have the authority. It was really frustrating 😓; they just pushed the blame onto temporary staff. This whole experience has taught us a lesson: always remember to keep proof in the future.

Superb as always! The staff is just perfect and very efficient… thank you to the whole team for your kindness. (Just remember to put coffee capsules near the machine and check the pool water temperature!) ;) John Chirico
