Samsen Street Hotel

Really lovely hotel down the busy alleys in Samsen. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet, with a cafe and restaurant on site. Two movies are played in the evening and it’s so nice to sit with a drink by the pool, or sit inside the pool, and watch these. All the workers at the hotel are really pleasant and helpful and you can read the story of the couple owner on the reception wall. khaosan Road is less than 10 mins walk away and the alleys around the hotel are full of life, lots of pop up activities happen and there’s plenty of nice restaurants, cafes, laundrettes, 7-11, bars all around the hotel. Would definitely recommend this. You’re also spoiled for choice with so many temples and museums surrounding the hotel, plus the boat pier isn’t far by foot either.

I’ve stayed at Samsen Street Hotel about five times now, and it has never disappointed me. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Bangkok’s lively backpacker area, with plenty of restaurants, bars and things to do within walking distance. At the same time, the hotel itself is a nice and relaxing place to stay. The breakfast buffet is particularly good for this hotel category, with a solid selection and good quality. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for a well located and comfortable hotel in Bangkok at a reasonable price. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Samsen Street Hotel is our second home. It is our second time there. We were a group of 4 people. The location is excellent, only about a 10-minute walk from Khao San Road. I would definitely recommend this hotel! Clean, friendly and helpful!

I stayed in dorm and was very good experience. With nice breakfast, great pool and right in the old Bangkok center very close to khaosan road the hotel makes a sense. One cons - you never know who will be your neighbours)

At first,I thought there will be noise and dirty since its mixed dormitory but the reviews were good.So,we booked this hotel.During our stay in Samsen street hotel,my friend forgot her watch in the bathroom,but we got it back when we asked the receptionist.It was really nice hotel to stay.The breakfast buffet is my favorite.
