Hanoi Solo Hostel

This hotel, located in the old district, seems to be quite discriminatory towards Asians, particularly Chinese guests. I hope this warning helps others avoid a bad experience. If you're looking for a prison-like atmosphere, this is your place. They constantly lecture you about their rules and discipline, forcing you to follow their arrangements, often speaking loudly. When you ask them to lower their voices, they'll badmouth you behind your back. The hotel restaurant is infested with cockroaches and mice; you'll see them every hour of every day. It makes you wonder if the food has been contaminated. There are hotels with better decor, better service, and even lower prices. There are two male receptionists who wear glasses, one tall and one short. One openly displays his poor attitude and service, while the other is more subtle but will still put you in a room with Indian guests. These guests are incredibly noisy, talking loudly until late into the night and often moving between rooms.

Most of the staff were diligent and constantly cleaning, doing a great job. However, someone was talking non-stop in their room late at night, not even in the lobby, which definitely disturbed my rest. I have some other suggestions that I'll share later.
