Shambhala stupa snow mountain, elevation 4250 m
The Shambhala stupa snow mountain, known as "Jiangqiu Qudeng" in Tibetan ("Qudeng" meaning stupa), is located northeast of the Gezong snow mountain. Named for its striking resemblance to a white stupa, it is a unique Tibetan sacred site recorded in the Tibetan Buddhist canon and the celestial stupa prophesied by Buddha Shakyamuni after his enlightenment. Beneath the stupa, a set of Buddha's footprints remains to this day. The naturally formed pyramidal peak, cloaked in snow, stands majestically under the sky. Flanking it are two mountains—one resembling a seated lama chanting scriptures and the other an unfolded sutra—collectively symbolizing the "Three Jewels" of Buddhism (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha). This sacred triad draws countless devout pilgrims to pay homage and make wishes.

Echo wall at an altitude of 3000 m
Descending from the sacred snow realm, you are greeted by a canyon masterpiece with a 700 m vertical drop. The suspended wooden walkway winds around the cliffs like a ribbon, where a single shout can awaken the mountains' chorus. At the end, a fully transparent glass viewing platform lets you step into the clouds. The return offers an optional zip line, soaring 100 m above the canyon for a brave flyer's finale.

Zhuomalakang, elevation 2,900 m
This Tibetan cultural museum is a harbor for the soul to rest. Solemnly displayed within are 21 Tara statues, silently watching over all who come and go. Eight white stupas bask in the warm sunlight, while ancient thangkas continue their wordless narratives. The hum of prayer wheels and the flicker of butter lamps weave together a sacred space—here, every palms-pressed prayer and whispered wish pays homage to time and brings peace to the heart.

Balagezong Scenic Area 2,050m above sea level
Balagezong Scenic Area in Shangri-La Grand Canyon is renowned for its unique landform featuring "gorges within gorges, interconnected gorges." The valley bottom displays a typical U-shaped structure, with the Gangqu River meandering through it. Visitors can walk along the 2.5 km wooden plank trail or choose to take a boat downstream, immersing themselves in the poetic scenery of "sheer cliffs facing each other while a crystal-clear river flows through a painting-like landscape," experiencing the grandeur and majesty of the canyon.

Millennium bodhi tree 2,050m above sea level
In Tibetan Buddhism, the bodhi tree is a sacred tree that embodies all virtues, protecting all living beings and shining through the ages. At the finale of the itinerary, a 3,000-year-old bodhi tree greets you in a breathtaking manner. Astonishingly, many years ago, a distinct "Buddha's hand" seemingly emerged overnight from its trunk, revered as a divine miracle capable of bringing joy and peace. Locals also regard it as a "wealth-grasping hand," believing that touching it can attract fortune, adding further auspicious significance to this spiritual tree.
