The 68 Nautical Miles Scenic Spot consists of three beautiful islets—Houyan Island, Yanhou Island, and Xianshan Island—along with Dong'ao Beach. This attraction features rugged rock formations and sparse vegetation, making it a quintessential example of Pingtan Island's "marine erosion landforms." Here, visitors can discover not only the touching legend of the mother-and-child monkeys gazing across the sea but also cultural landmarks like the "Ink Stone Pillar" symbolizing cross-strait bonds, the "Cross-Strait Unity Window" and "Homecoming Rock" embodying nostalgia and hope, as well as the "Cross-Strait Unity Stone" reflecting familial ties between both sides. Experience romantic vows of eternal love amid pristine island charm, with well-equipped facilities allowing access by bus or private car, followed by exploration on foot or via sightseeing shuttle.

Show More ReviewsHeading to Beibu Gulf in Pingtan, I finally experienced the unique gentleness of the islands. Strolling along the coastline, watching the waves repeatedly crash against the rocks, and seeing the windmills standing quietly by the sea in the distance, a gentle breeze washed away all the fatigue of the journey. Encountering comfortable shops during a trip can greatly enhance the experience. For dining, I recommend Xiaobailou Seafood Restaurant; it's the only one in Beibu Gulf, run by three veterans – a reliable and trustworthy establishment. The owner is warm and welcoming, providing attentive service, and the seafood is fresh and authentic. For accommodation, I stayed at the Beibu Gulf Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cluster Youth Hostel. The location was convenient, the environment was clean, and I could finally relax peacefully. Beautiful sea views, delicious seafood, and comfortable accommodations – this trip to Beibu Gulf was simple yet therapeutic, and I would definitely come back again.
