Reviews: Lantau Island Selected Tour – Ngong Ping 360 Priority Boarding + Big Buddha + Tai O Fishing Village (Afternoon Departure)
Guest User2026-10-13
I highly recommend this trip with Betty as our helpful guide, combining two unique experiences in one day. Lantau Island is serene and rich in buddhist culture with majestic statues and beautiful temples. Tai O fishing village gives a peek into simple local life with small shops, places to eat, and people whose lives revolve around the fishing economy. Definitely take the boat ride in the village, its worth it even if you don't see dolphins. No need to pay extra for the glass floor cable car, the ride is long and the views are spectacular from the regular cars. Betty was such a good guide, she is organized, knowledgeable, very friendly, and funny! Overall great trip for good value.

Reviews: Lantau Island Ngong Ping 360 round-trip cable car admission ticket with priority boarding + one-way urban area transfer

It was quite interesting, with a view of the airport and the mountains. Our guide was kind, thoughtful, and tried to explain things clearly. Even with my less-than-stellar English, everything went well. The rain was a bit of a bummer, but overall, I enjoyed it.

Reviews: Hong Kong Lantau Island Tour: 360 Cable Car, Big Buddha & Tai O Village and dolphin watch

The trip was on October 16, 2026. Everything was organized perfectly. Our guide, Bruce, arrived early at the meeting point. We recommend checking your email and WA the day before, as our meeting point was changed the day before the trip. We were prepared for this—we received an email about it in advance. The tour itself was very quick and engaging! The line for the Ngongping was divided into two sections depending on the cabin type. We had a regular cabin without a carpeted floor, so we arrived later than those in the crystal cabins. Next, we went to a fishing village for a boat ride, then to the summit with its monastery and Buddha. The place is very interesting and beautiful, and the trip was educational. We recommend this tour company.

It was a lovely day trip. The guide, Ricky ( but not Ricky Martin) was great. I recommend this trip.
