Extremely satisfied with this hotel! They have staff who speak Chinese, and they provided excellent service throughout our two-day stay, even explaining the onsen in great detail. We were so happy! The room was clean and tidy, and the dinner was a vibrant and delicious experience, mostly with Japanese guests. It was a truly unforgettable time, and we'll definitely be back!

This hotel boasts a great location, perfect for enjoying the scenic steam rising from Yumetake. However, the view of Kannawa was a bit disappointing due to ongoing construction in front. Among all the ryokans I've stayed at in the Kannawa area, this one had the largest open-air bath – it was absolutely wonderful! Dinner was neat and tidy. I distinctly remember selecting a room with a bathtub when booking, but the room I was assigned didn't have one. I knew that rooms with and without bathtubs had different prices, so it left a rather unsettling, even upsetting, feeling. Despite that, the hotel's location is fantastic for exploring the Hells of Beppu!

I was surprised to find the hotel was brand new upon arrival, as the photos from when I booked must have been old. The service at the front desk, restaurant, hot springs, and gift shop was all incredibly polite, making for a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious and clean, and personally, I was very impressed that it had a coffee maker, a Refa hairdryer, and amenities. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Good Location. Good services. Excellent Onsen. Good dinner and breakfast. The only downside is that the hotel charged us 500Yen parking fee, it is minimal and not necessary given the hotel is not located at urban areas with adequate parking slots, whereas it is not found at most of the hot spring resort hotels.
