I was a bit worried the hotel's age meant outdated facilities, but that turned out to be completely unfounded. The hotel has a spacious parking lot, and my favorite spot is the terrace outside the breakfast area—it's peaceful and offers a view of the Xin'an River.

The hotel is a bit dated, and the receptionist who checked us in had a terrible attitude. To make matters worse, neither of the two key cards they gave me worked on the door. When I called down to the front desk, the second staff member was super nice, made new cards, and brought them up to the room. The room itself is old but quite clean. The price during the holiday was a bit of a rip-off, but everything else was okay. The basement parking spaces must be built to old standards—they are extremely small.

A five-star hotel by the Xin'an River with an amazing pool. Great value for money, highly recommend!

Facilities: The hotel is a bit old and overall quite dated. The room I was initially assigned had very poor soundproofing. Breakfast: Decent, with some local Huangshan specialties. Service: Overall good, and they even offered local cultural activities.

This hotel is definitely among the top-tier in Huangshan, boasting a prime riverside location and exquisite decor. Special thanks to Manager Zhu and Xiao Zhang at the front desk for their exceptional service. They even went out of their way to remind us when we left an item behind. Much appreciated! We'll definitely be back to stay here again.

The hotel lobby was grand, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast offered many specialty dishes from Huangshan, especially the hotel's mini wontons with their thin skins – I really loved them. Gina Chu from the hotel even served us fermented rice with eggs and gave us a small gift. It was very thoughtful!

The hotel's location is super convenient, right by the Xin'an River. Manager Ye and Xiao Pan at the front desk were fantastic; they upgraded us to a river-view room with a balcony. The service was excellent too. We'll definitely be back!

This hotel is perfectly situated right by the Xin'an River in Tunxi City. The river view rooms offer beautiful scenes of boats passing by, especially stunning at sunset. I highly recommend booking a river view room directly, or you might even get an upgrade if you have a friendly chat with the front desk. The breakfast here is a model for hotels – incredibly rich and varied. They offer unique local specialties like 'shaobing,' leek dumplings, 'stone-cooked' dishes, and handmade mini wontons, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes. The staff are highly efficient; plate clearing and guest reception are quick and enthusiastic. I was particularly impressed by Zhu and Lanlan at the front desk, who gave great advice on local attractions. Ms. Rong Yaqin in the restaurant was also very helpful, explaining all the different fruits and pastries. Overall, the Crowne Plaza is an excellent choice for a stay in Tunxi.
