I had a wonderful stay at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River.
Even before my arrival, the Concierge team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They replied promptly to my emails, assisted me in arranging a professional hair and makeup team for a wedding, and helped with restaurant reservations and various requests throughout my stay. Their service was warm, thoughtful, and highly professional.
The room offered a beautiful river view, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was exceptional. One of the most impressive aspects was the landscaping. Lush greenery and beautiful plants are integrated throughout the property, creating a relaxing and peaceful environment that makes you forget you are in the middle of a busy city.
Walking along the Chao Phraya River with the gentle river breeze was one of the highlights of my trip. The hotel boat service was also excellent, providing convenient access to ICONSIAM and the BTS station.
The dining experience was outstanding. I dined at three different restaurants within the hotel, and every meal was excellent. The food quality, presentation, and service were consistently impressive.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
This was an unforgettable stay, and I would gladly return in the future. I give Four Seasons Bangkok my highest recommendation.

Four Seasons remains the gold standard for service. The hygiene is top-notch, and the turndown service always offers delightful surprises. Traveling with kids, the extra bed was incredibly convenient. We received a puzzle as a welcome gift, and the welcome treats were a lovely touch. They even replenished our welcome fruit after we finished it. My only slight personal observation, which I've noticed across all hotels in Thailand over my ten-plus years of visiting — whether city or resort — is that staff tend to be a bit friendlier to Western guests than to Chinese guests. The Four Seasons, though, is actually one of the better ones in that regard. Overall, it's excellent; you get a real resort feel even in the city. For this brand and price point, it's quite reasonable, especially considering how expensive Four Seasons resorts can be. Great value for money.

Everything was perfect, absolutely flawless! From check-in to check-out, they arranged all sorts of pleasant surprises, and the emotional value was off the charts! It's a shame I checked in midway through my trip, so I didn't get to experience the airport transfer or fast-track service, but they arranged a car to take me to my next hotel after check-out. Throughout my stay, every single staff member, including the General Manager, was attentive to guests' needs – a truly extraordinary experience! If the price is acceptable for you, I highly recommend checking it out!

My first time staying at an Aman, and there's nothing bad to say about the basics – absolutely perfect across the board. All the staff spoke excellent English, and they even had Chinese menus. The pool is 25 meters, only really big enough for two people to swim comfortably. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but everything else was fantastic, and they even delivered takeout directly to the room.

The Ritz Carlton Bangkok was not our initial hotel choice, and we regretted not staying longer. From the very first moment, we experienced their exceptional privilege concierge service! A friendly chat with the guest can leave a lasting impression, and Matthew is a perfect example of that. Our check-in was exclusively handled at the club lounge, as we booked a room with lounge access, which included welcome drinks and snacks. The warmth and thoughtful service from staff, especially Ms. Fairy and Ms. Mint, made our experience truly memorable. All hotel facilities and important details were carefully attended to and communicated to us. Thank you very much to the entire team! We will definitely return again.

A huge thank you to the Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge team and the bar team (especially the three handsome gentlemen, BEAM, SEE, and one whose name I've forgotten). You truly mended my wounded heart and made my vacation wonderful. I spent every day at the hotel and never felt bored. Both the lounge and bar offered excellent food and drinks. I'm already looking forward to my next stay at the Ritz-Carlton in October! Your sincerity and friendliness have truly captured my heart. Thank you again! 🙏

On the first day of our stay, the front desk and concierge staff accompanied us to our room with our luggage. However, when we entered the first room, there was no electricity. So, we all had to go back to the lobby on the first floor to switch to another room. The front desk offered two complimentary cocktail vouchers as compensation.
At the 39M rooftop bar, we were advised that smoking was not allowed indoors and that we should sit in the highest outdoor area. But when we got outside, we were told the smoking area was closed and that we would have to walk to the very top floor to smoke, and even then, no ashtray was provided.
On the last day, the night before check-out, I tried to negotiate with the front office about a late check-out until 2:00 PM. I was told it could only be extended until 1:00 PM. Later, a male staff member from the front office very impatiently agreed to 1:30 PM, which made me feel quite uncomfortable.
We spent 3600 Thai Baht at the bar on both nights, but we didn't receive the corresponding polite service. The service and attitude at this hotel don't match its price point. While the hardware facilities are indeed quite new, the overall stay experience was not good, mainly due to issues with the soft services provided by the staff.
I definitely won't choose to stay at this hotel again.

This is my second stay here, and overall, it's 100% perfect. The hotel is luxurious and elegant throughout. I've enjoyed the breakfast, pool facilities, and rooftop bar service. From the attentive receptionist during check-in to the proactive and thoughtful waitstaff at breakfast who offered service even before I asked, and the quick-responding pool attendant who came to greet me – it truly touched my heart. I will definitely book here again next time. Plus, there's a large shopping mall right downstairs with dining, entertainment, and massage options, and it connects directly to both BTS and MRT, making it super convenient to get anywhere.

Rosewood Bangkok is truly my second home in Bangkok. It's consistently comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming. I spent every day at the bar, and I want to thank KT, TING, and the entire bar team. They even remembered my preferences from before, knowing I like my chicken wings lightly seasoned – that really touched me. Of course, a special thank you this weekend goes to AMY, who was incredibly thoughtful from check-in to check-out. She anticipated my needs and made sure I felt well taken care of, arranging everything from kombucha and cocktails to Kung Fu tea each evening. It was all so heartwarming. Thanks again to everyone I met at Rosewood Bangkok 🙏🏻. Your kindness has made it so that I'd feel guilty not staying at Rosewood Bangkok whenever I visit.

The location is excellent, you can directly access the BTS from the third floor, and there's a mall right next door within walking distance. If you're looking to explore the dining, shopping, and entertainment around Bangkok's BTS area, the Rosewood is incredibly convenient for getting around. The breakfast is also exceptionally rich and delicious.

If your trip is expected to be longer than 3 days, The Peninsula is unbeatable. I can't think of any other hotel that compares, besides The Mandarin Oriental. The environment is excellent. As for the issues raised in the comments section:
1. **Breakfast:** The main dishes included curry fried noodles, freshly cooked noodles and wontons. For meats, there was salmon, stir-fried chicken breast, and ham. Special items included sliced mango and peeled pomegranate. Vegetables featured roasted tomatoes, eggplant, and potatoes. Personally, I found it satisfactory. The pastries were a highlight: the French toast and durian puff were absolutely delicious.
2. **Outdated facilities:** This is true. The charging outlets are quite far from the bed.
3. **Service:** They offer yoga classes, pastry classes, and Thai cooking classes, all of which are great. The pool is beautiful. I personally think the shuttle boat is the most beautiful. The spa is also excellent!

Staying at the Peninsula Bangkok every couple of months has become a kind of longing and motivation for me. Just staying at the hotel, walking along familiar paths, admiring the exquisite gardens, eating, drinking, swimming, and taking the shuttle boat to the Iconsiam next door for some shopping – it's incredibly relaxing! This time, I met North during my stay, and her colleague Mac, who helped with check-in, was very diligent and professional, making sure to follow all standard procedures – so lovely! 😊 Yesterday, I saw North's sweet smile again during check-out, which made for a perfect ending!
I've already booked a buffet dinner for my company's team-building event next January, and I'm still looking forward to returning to the Peninsula.

Capella speaks for itself; the facilities and services are incredibly detailed, and the butler was very responsible and attentive, with good Chinese language skills. The breakfast was also delicious. I'll definitely choose Capella again for my next trip.

I've always been a fan of Mandarin Oriental, but this was my first stay at their Bangkok property. I must say, this 150-year-old hotel still maintains an incredibly high standard of service. Time only adds to its charm, never becoming a burden.
The moment you step into the hotel lobby, you're greeted by a lavish and captivating Southeast Asian decor. Tropical greenery 🪴, vintage red and green sofas, and extravagant chandeliers create a distinct personality! It's undeniably luxurious, opulent, and flamboyant.
Upon entering the room, the colors become much more subdued, leaning towards a minimalist European style. My favorite parts were the bathroom and the floor-to-ceiling balcony windows! The gray, white, and deep blue tiles on the balcony are retro and sophisticated, setting the base tone. Silver vintage faucets add a touch of grandeur to the design, making the bathroom itself incredibly photogenic. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow sunlight to embrace every guest, offering panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River's every change.
From the moment you step out of your car at the lobby entrance, you're consistently attended to by the staff. The doorman immediately presents a Jasmin garland as a welcome and escorts you to the front desk before leaving. There's no unnecessary waiting; check-in begins promptly, and your requests are met one by one. When I mentioned it was for a birthday celebration, a cake 🍰 was arranged in the room immediately.
Upon entering the room, the floor manager thoughtfully brings a welcome drink and explains all the room amenities, providing 24-hour service on the floor. This level of attentiveness makes guests feel secure and at ease.
Taking the shuttle boat daily to and from the Spa, Gym, and shopping center is also a unique experience. I have to say, the gym facilities are top-notch, and the flow design is excellent. From the moment you enter until you leave, the staff greets you with a smile.
Although there was a minor issue with the lights in the room, slightly affecting the experience, the front desk manager immediately provided a solution and offered a gift. Their response time was within three minutes.
Who wouldn't love a hotel like this, with such service and such an experience? I will definitely be staying again!

The original flagship hotel of Mandarin Oriental, the 'One River, Two Systems' Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, is a must-visit luxury hotel for enthusiasts. On this trip, I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok, and the Bangkok MO was undoubtedly the most surprising. The hotel's welcome amenities were very thoughtful, and any issues during my stay were resolved efficiently and professionally. The 24-hour butler service on every floor was impressive. The three buildings each have their own distinct style, and I highly recommend the State Room I stayed in! The private terrace with views of the Chao Phraya River was incredibly relaxing, and the room's design, rich in local cultural elements, left a lasting impression. The outdoor-only breakfast restaurant was a minor drawback, given Bangkok's really hot and humid weather, but being right by the river with even birds interacting with guests was quite interesting. The convenient shuttle boat service to ICONSIAM right across the river was a plus, and the hotel's wellness facilities being located on the opposite bank truly offered a unique experience. In summary, the Mandarin Oriental, celebrating its 150th anniversary, is definitely worth adding to your must-stay list.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Siam Hotel! The service was outstanding — truly top-notch and attentive. The hotel and my room are uniquely designed with so much style and character, making the whole experience really special. I stayed for three nights and left with such beautiful memories. Everything was so relaxing and chill, full of little surprises — I absolutely loved it! Highly recommend it, definitely worth experiencing.
