As the ancient seat of Huizhou Prefecture (Shexian County), Huizhou Ancient City offers insights into the layout and operation of ancient government offices, besides the Xu Guo Stone Archway. Those interested in Huizhou history and culture can visit the Huizhou Museum, or simply stroll through the streets and alleys.
