Odakyu Hotel Century Southern Tower

The view exceeded all expectations; I could enjoy observatory-like scenery right from my room. It was a pleasure to watch the view from morning till night. The room facilities were brand new, and all essential amenities were provided. The location is superb, directly facing Takashimaya, just a short walk across the bridge.

Overall, it was good, but the facilities are a bit old. I'm not sure about other rooms, but the room I stayed in had a persistent smell, like an odor coming from the carpet. However, the cleanliness was good. The window view was beautiful, offering cityscapes of Tokyo and Shinjuku Gyoen, with lots of trees and greenery that was pleasant to the eye.

Excellent! The hotel is conveniently located right above Shinjuku Station's Odakyu Line Southeast Exit. On the second floor, there's a huge connecting plaza that links to Takashimaya and Tokyu Hands at Shinjuku Times Square. The hotel also offers a direct airport shuttle bus, which is super easy to book on their official website. The front desk staff spoke English fluently and offered me an upgrade discount. For an extra 4000 JPY per night, I got an upgraded room facing Takashimaya, with a view of the Tokyo Skytree on a clear day. While it's an older hotel with somewhat dated facilities, it's impeccably clean and tidy, and the location simply can't be beat.

The hotel's location is absolutely superb, especially convenient for travelers using buses as it's right next to the Shinjuku Transportation Terminal, just a 10-minute walk. There are also major department stores like Takashimaya and Tokyu Hands nearby, and dining options are plentiful. Although the room is a bit small, it has everything you need. There's a water dispenser for drinking water and a vending machine in the hallway. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tokyo!
