The facilities and cleanliness are average for the price. The owner speaks English well, which made communication smooth. However, the hotel's location is truly abysmal. It's nestled in the mountains, and the road up and down several hills is a challenge. Getting there by taxi is difficult, and the drivers are notoriously unstable, making it dangerous. At night, taxi drivers often charge up to 2,000 rupees. Even the taxi driver I told to ask the owner after checkout charged 2,000 rupees for a ride into the city, a distance normally only 500 rupees. The hotel owner didn't mention the location or the rough roads in their advertisement. Simply put, it's exaggerated advertising.

Cheap guest house. The owner cheated a little when he posted a photo of the house where he lives. There is a separate house for guests, not so beautiful and dark. The owner is polite, ready to help, but stingy. For example, for the same price for breakfast in the city you can eat cheaper. The furniture is normal, the mattress is good. There is a shower, but the water is cold and the water heater does not have time to heat up. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a microwave, an electric kettle and a refrigerator. In the living room you can turn on the fan. It has 5 speeds. The worst thing in the house is the entrance. High and inconvenient. At night, the road is only partially lit. Not for walking in the evenings.

It rained on the day we checked in, but the next morning the air was fresh and the sunshine was very good. The hotel is located on a hill. We were woken up by birds and dogs in the morning. The owners are two elderly couples who prepared a sumptuous meal for us. For breakfast, we also taught us how to make homemade milk tea using the famous local Ceylon tea. It is very sweet without adding sugar, and the yogurt➕passion fruit taste is also very nice. I like it very much. If I come to Kandy again, I think I will choose to stay here again. I wish the homeowner and his family happiness and peace

If you are alone, it is still a bit scary to drive a tuk-tuk at night because the mountain road behind is a dirt road with no street lights. The air in the mountains is very good and quiet. There is no air conditioning in the room, but there is a fan, but you can't open the door or windows because there are mountains outside, mosquitoes will come in, and you can also see squirrels. Only if you don't open the window without a fan, there will be no ventilation and it will be a bit stuffy. The scenery is pretty good. I stayed for three days and was only given a bottle of mineral water. I had to buy more if I wanted. After three days, I was only given one piece of soap. After asking for it for a long time, the store insisted that one piece of soap was enough. Later, when they found out that I was doing laundry, they gave me an extra piece of soap. I can't wash my hair because the hot water is too small. Oh, what a sin. If you are alone, it is recommended not to go out at night, because you have to walk on mountain roads, and there are occasionally dogs on the mountain roads. Better find a companion.

Wonderful owner of the guest house! Met, checked in, told about locations, took us to the city, speaks English. The house is very well maintained with beautiful architecture. It is immediately noticeable that the owner maintains cleanliness. The house is located in the mountains with a beautiful view not far from the center, a tuk-tuk ride costs 500 rupees. In the morning you will breathe in the freshness of the Kandy mountain range. The room has everything you need, a kettle, microwave, refrigerator and a shower with hot water. There were a lot of spider webs. When my laundry came back it was damp, and when I asked about it I was told it was because it hadn't been sunny. I suppose that can't be helped, but I wish they had told me if it hadn't dried.
