Since the mountain is almost entirely composed of Cambrian and Ordovician limestone, it has formed a typical medium and low mountain karst landform in the middle section of Taihang Mountain. The types of surface karst landforms include stone buds (small stone forests), karst pits, small karst gullies, isolated peaks, stone piers, stone walls, stone pillars, peak clusters, natural bridges, gaps, etc. The underground karst landforms are mainly caves, and there are large caves of more than a thousand meters.
