Yuzennoyado Toukai

This accommodation was wonderful, featuring a breathtaking view where the tranquil city and mountains unfold in harmony, and a romantic private bath! It was close to the terminal, and I liked that restaurants and convenience stores were closer than I expected! The Kaiseki was delicious, and the staff were friendly :) However, if you have allergies to wood or dust, please make sure to bring allergy medication!!

This accommodation allowed me to truly enjoy Ureshino Onsen!! If you go by rental car, free parking is convenient, and if you go by public transport, the bus terminal is also nearby. It was a ryokan where you could feel the authentic atmosphere of traditional Japan in a Japanese-style tatami room!! We added breakfast, and it was even tastier than the tofu set meal we had at the restaurant the day before!!! From the neatly presented food to the attitude of the staff, I felt like I was being treated like royalty even though I only stayed for one night. My friend who came with me loved it too, so thanks to this, we had a wonderful vacation!!

It was just so-so. I have no intention of going a second time.

This is my third time in Ureshino. I stayed at a different ryokan in Kaki, and this one was great value for the price. We booked a room with breakfast included but no dinner, and everyone in my group was very satisfied. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean for the price. The only downsides were that the private bath was a bit expensive and the tatami mats felt a bit old. However, the hot spring water is truly Ureshino quality; it is the best. The surrounding environment is also wonderful for a walk. There is a Totorogi park, so I highly recommend it if you want a relaxing trip. However, food options are somewhat lacking. Since the shops are small, they fill up quickly. Reservations are a must, haha.

It was great to be able to enjoy the Japanese-style room and hot springs to my heart's content morning and night. The only language I could speak was Japanese, but there was no problem at all when checking in. There is a public hot spring that you can use as a basic service in the accommodation, but you can also use the private hot spring in the annex if you pay a separate fee. It was cheap. There is a European-style bathhouse building 30 meters away from the accommodation, and you can start the Olle Trail from there, so the location is great. I had a good rest!
