The hotel is located right on Alona Beach, with a section of the beach situated right next to the lowest-tier pool. Swimming while looking out at the ocean is quite relaxing. Step outside, and you are right on Alona Beach's bustling main street, which is very lively at night with restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and massage parlors—everything you could possibly need. However, the exchange rates at the nearby currency exchange booths aren't very favorable; in fact, it feels like the rates across all of Alona Beach are generally on the lower side, so it's best to exchange your money in China before coming. The resort is divided into three main sections: standard rooms, primary rooms, and the villa area. Personally, I felt that the standard rooms were the most convenient, as they are a reasonable distance from everything. Built along the terrain, the hotel stretches from Alona Beach all the way up to the commercial street area. Because of this, the resort is effectively split into different levels: the top level houses the hotel lobby and some guest rooms. Walking through here leads you to the first pool area (which features a pool bar). Following the path further down, you'll reach the Cristina restaurant, the Kai Spa, and another pool without a bar. Walking even further down brings you to another restaurant (where you can also have breakfast, alongside the second-floor restaurant, though the vibe here feels much nicer), right next to the beachfront pool (which also has a bar and offers Happy Hour). The hotel's overall hardware facilities are well-equipped, and the surroundings are beautiful. The service is also top-notch; almost every staff member we encountered proactively greeted us, and the service was both patient and enthusiastic. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

Very nice place, clean rooms and great environment. The breakfast had plenty of options and was delicious! Choosing this resort with friends and family was a great decision. Located right on Alona Beach, taking a taxi to BBC is not far either. The location is fantastic, with McDonald's and other restaurants within easy walking distance.

Henann Resort Alona Beach features multiple swimming pools and offers direct access to Alona Beach right from the property. Located right in front of the main downtown street, it is extremely convenient for shopping and dining.

This trip was a bad experience, and I hope other travelers to Bohol can avoid this place: 1. During check-out, the hotel insisted on inspecting the room. The front desk staff made me wait 10 minutes, then took photos of a soda can and cigarette ash on the balcony (P2, P3). They demanded an exorbitant fine of 37,000 pesos, threatening not to let me leave otherwise. Because I was in a hurry to catch my Panglao-Manila flight, I eventually negotiated down to a 26,000+ peso fine (about 2,800 RMB) before they allowed me to leave. The final receipt is shown in P5. 2. Regarding smoking: I did smoke on the beach and brought a soda can with cigarette butts back to the balcony, where it accidentally fell. I did not smoke inside the room at all. The hotel, solely based on cigarette butt traces on the balcony, charged an excessive fine exceeding two nights' room rate (the room rate was 888/night). Moreover, the non-smoking clause on the check-in form (P4) appeared intentionally blurred or redacted. 3. During the check-out negotiation, while I was rushing to catch my flight, the hotel even arranged for staff and security to snatch my luggage and prevent me from leaving. I believe this is not the attitude a service industry should have.

The room is quite spacious, and the staff are very friendly. The three pool areas are nice, but the only drawback is that the room view is mediocre and lacks a direct ocean view.

This internet-famous hotel is super hyped up, but once you actually stay here, you realize there are so many ridiculous rules. By default, they assign you a terrible room right next to a busy main road, which is extremely noisy at night. To make matters worse, the AC leaked! The dripping water completely soaked my shoes. Then, they took their sweet time sending someone to fix it, and only agreed to change our room after I lost my temper. Unsurprisingly, the new room was also in a very remote corner—you have to navigate a maze and walk for at least three minutes just from the elevator. And that's not even the most absurd part. The hotel proudly claims to have its own private beach with lounge chairs. But guess what? The staff tries to chase guests away and pack up the loungers at 7:20 PM sharp! When I asked why, they just said it's hotel policy. How bizarre is that? This hotel clearly hires influencers to generate hype, but it's actually garbage. For the same price, you can choose somewhere else—just avoid this place.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, perfect for a vacation. It has a large balcony and a wide variety of breakfast options. The hotel's location is excellent, right by the beach and a central McDonald's, which is very convenient.

A really nice hotel with a great location—just a short walk to McDonald's. There are plenty of swimming pools, though lacking in water activities (like paddleboards). The staff's attitude was top-notch. The facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness was fine. Worth mentioning is the Christina restaurant; every dish was amazing and it's a must-try!

The rooms have a slight old-fashioned charm, but they're very well-maintained and comfortable to stay in. The hotel's buffet isn't as bad as some people on Xiaohongshu say; it's about 900 baht per person without drinks, which you order separately. (On a side note, whether it's the pool bar, restaurant, lobby bar, or the sand restaurant, they all use the same drink menu with identical prices). The Kai Spa in the hotel is a bit pricey; a standard single treatment will easily cost you upwards of 300-500 baht, but the environment, I must say, is truly excellent. The hotel staff are all very professional and have a good attitude. Check-in time isn't strictly enforced; it seems arriving a bit early is fine. The outdoor pool behind the lobby, while open-air, is quite clean. It's rarely used at night, mainly by families with children during the day. It closes at 9 PM, so after dark, it's pretty much empty. The beach pool is open until midnight; the one by the beach is for all ages, while the one near Christina's is adult-oriented. Overall, for an average price of around 1200 baht per night during holidays, the experience is generally worth it. A similar hotel in the same location, like Tawaravadee, might not offer the same value for money. If you can stay for an average of less than 750 baht during off-peak seasons, it's an incredibly good deal. Also, this hotel has a lot, a lot, a lot of Koreans, almost all of whom are on family vacations. You can walk directly from the hotel to the beach, and along the beach, there are shops and businesses. Most of the beach restaurants recommended on 'that app' are in this area. The one with fire dancing is Osias, and it's cheap and offers large portions. Upon check-in, the hotel, including the information sheet, states that breakfast starts at 6 AM. However, breakfast is actually available from 5:30 AM, with some simple bread, food, and drinks. The hotel does not offer 'breakfast to go'. If you need to catch an early island hopping tour, just go down early to eat, and you'll have no problem filling up.
