We had a comfortable stay at Shinjuku Prince Hotel. Our room was small, about 15 square metres, but that is typical for many hotels in Tokyo. Despite the compact size, the room was clean, functional, and comfortable for our stay.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. It is conveniently located in Shinjuku, with easy access to both Shinjuku Station and the Seibu Shinjuku Line. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. The underground passages connected to the train and subway stations are lined with dining and shopping options, making it very convenient regardless of the weather.
Another plus is that the hotel shares the building with a large shopping complex occupying several floors, so shopping and dining are literally just an elevator ride away.
Our only minor disappointment was the room rate. As we made a last-minute booking, we did not get a particularly good price. Had we booked earlier, we believe the hotel would have offered even better value for money.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily consider staying here again because of its superb location, convenience, and direct access to shopping, dining, and transportation.
