Mery Hotel Istanbul

We were completely satisfied with our stay at this hotel. We'd especially like to commend Ercan, who was incredibly accommodating and regularly checked in to make sure everything was alright. His dedication was truly exceptional. Since it was my birthday during our stay, my husband and friend, with Ercan's help, arranged for flowers to be beautifully placed in our room. This thoughtful gesture deeply touched me and made the stay even more special. We felt very comfortable and safe throughout our time there. The frequent playing of the Quran downstairs created an incredibly calming atmosphere and a strong sense of peace and security. The fact that the doors were always closed in the evenings also added to our feeling of safety. The hotel's location is perfect – everything is within walking distance and it's very central. The hotel is also new, modern, and extremely clean, which was particularly important to us. Absolutely top-notch in that regard! We sincerely hope that the cleanliness and high standards will be maintained in the future. We would love to come back again and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The price is great, and its proximity to the T1 tram line makes any minor issues seem insignificant. As a new hotel, it's very clean, and there are all sorts of restaurants downstairs, making it lively and safe, even if you come back late. The advantage of being close to the tram became incredibly important after spending two days walking on the uneven cobblestones behind the Blue Mosque. If you have a lot of luggage, try to choose accommodation on flat ground and avoid climbing hills; it's really tiring. This was the only one of the three hotels I stayed at in Istanbul that provided toothbrushes. However, it's not a perfect hotel either. My room was very small; I could barely open one suitcase. I'm not sure if the room type I chose was simply tiny. Also, since it's a new hotel, there was a bit of a new construction smell. Still, saving so much walking every day makes it worthwhile. The service was also excellent; they helped us with our luggage up and down, and any issues were resolved immediately. They even gave us two complimentary drinks, which was nice. This is a hotel I would definitely stay at again, simply because the transportation is so convenient.

The location is truly excellent! I was able to walk to almost all the Old Town attractions. There was a sudden power outage, but it came back on quickly. There are many restaurants nearby, so I could hear music and prayers, but I was so tired that I didn't mind and slept very well. Good!

Good hotel with a convenient location if you need to stay in this part of the city. Despite being on a very noisy street with trams passing right under the windows, the noise was minimal and didn't disturb our rest. The room was a bit cramped, but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights' sleep and relaxing after a full day of exploring. Complimentary water and juice were a nice and very convenient touch.

New hotel in Sirkeci, very good location. Mr. Ercan at the reception and the staff were very nice.

The bathroom facilities were also very clean, which I was very satisfied with!
