2/5 Stars. A nice place, but two main issues to be aware of:
The beach/water is not accessible unless you want to walk through meters and meters of sea ****. This makes beach enjoyment impossible, especially if you have children or don't want to walk through the sea ****. It was like this the entire day, all day, everyday, for over a week. I would not have booked this resort if this was the case. One of the main reasons I booked the resort was because of course the beach/water. If I just wanted to sit alongside a pool all day, and not a beach, I would have booked a different resort.
They advertise that their rooms are soundproof. They are not. You can hear noises easily from other rooms. BUT, on Thursday night of this week, the resort had a "private event" in the pool area, with a DJ and LOUD music until midnight. You could hear the words easily to the music, and even with ear plugs in, you could feel the base. If I wanted a party resort, I would have booked that, but I assumed the Westin had quiet hours. They do not.
Based on these to issues, I would not recommend staying here.
