Taking the bus directly from Haneda Airport to the hotel entrance was super convenient, costing 1400 JPY per person. The hotel lobby is grand, and the rooms are a decent size. There's a 7-Eleven and Lawson downstairs, so there's no need to book breakfast – you can just grab something from the convenience stores. Plus, the hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Shinjuku-nishiguchi subway station, making getting around very easy.

The room was quite small, basically just a place to sleep. You could open your suitcase, but it made the space feel a bit cramped. The room's amenities weren't very new. The only thing I found really practical was the spacious vanity, which was great for putting things down. However, I wouldn't say it was easy to do makeup, as the whole bathroom was quite basic, lacking a proper vanity light or mirror. Although this hotel came up as one of the top three (I think it was the first) when I searched for Shinjuku area accommodations, the closest subway station is actually Nishi-Shinjuku. It takes about a fifteen-minute walk to get to Shinjuku JR Station. There aren't many convenience stores nearby, as the hotel is located above the metropolitan government building. There were even some homeless people in the vicinity (?). The hotel staff automatically provide service in English, which made communication much smoother than in many other Japanese hotels. The guests were also predominantly Westerners. The most impressive part of the entire hotel was probably the grand lobby. Overall, the service was fine, but next time, I'd probably use a similar budget to stay at a different five-star hotel.

The hotel's facilities are generally good, but the service is subpar. There are very few Japanese staff members, and the cleaning is a disaster. Obvious trash isn't even removed, and the bathtub wasn't cleaned. Even after reminding them, the bathtub still wasn't cleaned the next day. The breakfast selection is limited, some dishes are overly salty, and the taste is generally mediocre. There are serious queues, and the breakfast staff's attitude is just okay, with chaotic operations. On two consecutive days, our cutlery was taken away when we went to get food from the buffet. On another day, we were given another table's bill and asked to pay, even though our breakfast was included. Facilities: The lobby is beautiful, and having two convenience stores downstairs is very convenient. Environment: With a good view of the park, you can see Mount Fuji on a clear day. Hygiene: The cleaning is perfunctory and quite poor. This might be due to extensive outsourcing and a shortage of local cleaning staff.

Absolutely fantastic and so comfortable! The front desk staff were incredibly patient, and the views were amazing – you could see Mount Fuji! Plus, there were stunning sunsets! The Trip.com customer service was also excellent; they promptly helped me resolve a price difference. It was truly wonderful!

Excellent! As someone who lived in Japan for a long time, I think Nishi-Shinjuku is a fantastic choice for tourists. I stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip this time. The hotel's service quality is up to standard, much better than most hotels in Japan's increasingly declining service industry. If I come to Tokyo again, I'd still choose this place.

Facilities: I'm not sure if the cabinets were renovated, but the edges are incredibly sharp. It really doesn't fit the Japanese emphasis on detail. I actually cut my arm. Ambiance: The lobby is beautiful, and the transportation is very convenient. There are shuttle buses right outside the hotel that go to the city center and the airport. Service: The front desk staff were nice, but when we tried to book a restaurant, they asked a bunch of questions about allergies. Only after all those questions did they call the restaurant, only to tell us there were no tables available. Couldn't they have checked availability first and skipped all the allergy questions? It was a huge waste of time. Cleanliness: Unfortunately, the room cleaning wasn't very thorough. Every time we came back, the trash on the floor was still there. In the mornings, they kept ringing the doorbell before we were even awake. The sheets weren't changed when they were dirty, and when a pillow fell on the floor, they just picked it up and put it back on the bed, still covered in dust from the floor. This really doesn't live up to five-star standards.
