The room was new and clean, but a bit damp. We booked a swim-up room but were assigned to one of the end rooms, which seems to be a common experience according to other reviews. Coincidentally, our neighbors were also Chinese. From a privacy perspective, we actually liked it, as we weren't directly facing the main pool. So, the end room wasn't really an issue for us.

Room 1101 faces the gym and is right at the very end of the pool. Room 1105 onwards has a scenic view nearby. I guess these are considered end-of-hallway rooms. The pool water was quite cold. My expectations were too high; I found the direct pool access room to be just so-so. It's not as good as the Midea concept, more suitable for adults, and just average for families with kids. Pools without sea views should offer more activities. It felt a bit monotonous. The Midea concept has a deep water area, and the water temperature is very warm. The orchid slide is exciting, and the water is also warm. The Niranapa pool is too small; it would be much better if it were bigger. The Pullman Phuket Arcadia Karon Beach Resort has a much better vacation vibe, though it's a long walk to find food and a 7-Eleven.

The location is excellent, right in Kata. It's incredibly convenient with everything you need nearby. The room type I specifically requested via email was fantastic. This was my second stay here. The hotel breakfast is quite varied, and there are a few cats wandering around, which is cute. The service is decent, and for peak season, the price is pretty reasonable. They have a massive pool, but unfortunately, I haven't had the time to enjoy it on either of my visits. Guess I'll have to come back again!

Extremely poor experience, not recommended. My stay here was truly awful and completely below standard. They discriminated between white guests and Chinese guests. I booked this room months ago and even discussed it via email, yet they still gave me a corner room. This corner room was right next to a night market, which was incredibly noisy at night. I couldn't get any proper rest and my sleep was severely affected. I tried to communicate with the hotel front desk via Trip.com, but they did not resolve the issue of the noisy night market. You can see from the picture how close the room they gave me was to the night market. For over a thousand a night, you can find much better options. I do not recommend this hotel!

Everything was excellen. We loved the stay at Aurico Kata Resort. The staff was amazing, very politely and always ready to serve you. The room was big, with everything that you need and we really enjoyed the resort's pool in the evenings
