"Following Google Maps, this place was easy to find. I took the airport bus to Jungceylon, and it was about a 10-minute walk from there. The hotel isn't right on the beach either; it takes a few minutes to walk there. The staff's professionalism was quite good, which I'd say is a common standard for 4-5 star hotels in Thailand. The room they assigned me was quite spacious, which I was happy with, and the bed was huge – plenty of room to roll around. A mini-fridge and a safe were also in the room, which are pretty standard amenities in Thailand. There's a rooftop bar and pool on the 5th floor, and I went up there for a coconut two days in a row. I didn't try their breakfast; it seemed to be 458 Baht per person."

"Great location, clean rooms. I stayed at this hotel years ago when it was under renovation. The location is great, absolutely walking distance to everywhere for those who come to Phuket for the first time. I just got the worst boat tour I've ever join from the tour company next to the hotel. I don't know if it belongs to a hotel. It is also great to have a market in front of the hotel. Very close to the sea."

"A great hotel. They call themselves ‘The Oasis of Patong’ and they’re not wrong. Close enough to the madness so it’s within a 15 minute walk to Bangla Rd but far enough away that it’s nice and quiet to make a relaxing stay. The pool area is great for relaxing and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and will be back."

"This was the last hotel on our Thailand trip. Due to limited room availability when booking, we ended up booking three different room types for three consecutive nights. On the first day of check-in, we proactively communicated with the hotel, hoping to consolidate our stay into one room for all three nights, even if it was the cheapest room type. The hotel stated that subsequent rooms were fully booked and couldn't be adjusted, which we understood, and we cooperated with all check-in procedures as requested. **I. Hotel Advantages** * **Spacious Rooms:** The rooms were generously sized and offered ample space, making for a comfortable stay. * **Cleanliness:** Basic room hygiene was good; the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. * **Quiet Location:** Situated on a hillside, the hotel offered a quiet environment with good views and natural surroundings. **II. Issues Encountered During Our Stay** 1. **Inconsistent Check-in Process and Excessive Waiting Time:** On our second day, we checked out promptly at 12:00 PM and waited in the lobby for the 2:00 PM check-in time. During the two-hour wait, several groups of foreign guests arrived, and the hotel processed their check-ins immediately, without requiring them to wait until the designated time. However, we had to wait until after 2:00 PM to be processed, making us the last group of waiting guests to check in that day. We ended up waiting in the lobby for nearly three hours. As paying guests, the difference in treatment was stark and made us feel very uncomfortable. 2. **Unreasonable Room Assignment and Dishonest Front Desk Communication:** After check-in, the hotel assigned us a connecting room, which shared a connecting door with the adjacent room. The lack of privacy and security was unacceptable. We requested a change at the front desk, and they explicitly stated, ”There are no other vacant rooms; this is the last one.” However, after we communicated with the hotel through the platform's customer service, they quickly provided another clean, non-connecting room. This clearly indicated that there were indeed other rooms available and that the front desk was not actively addressing our concerns, possibly even trying to evade responsibility. By the time we checked out and finally settled into a suitable room, it was already 3:00 PM. Half a day of our itinerary was wasted on hotel check-in issues, significantly impacting our travel experience. During the communication, the hotel even asked us to move all our luggage to the lobby and wait another 1-2 hours. The weather was hot that day, and we hadn't showered or rested since morning, making the entire ordeal very unpleasant. 3. **Contrasting Service Attitude Before and After Complaint:** After we raised our concerns, on the third day, the hotel proactively prepared our room in advance and had staff deliver the room key directly to our room, eliminating the need to go to the front desk. This efficient and convenient service could have been provided on the second day but was only offered after we expressed dissatisfaction. This suggests a lack of proactive service awareness and a less-than-genuine approach to problem-solving from the hotel. **III. [CRITICAL] Severe Water Quality Issues Affecting Health:** This hotel was the only one on our trip with severe water quality problems. Opening the tap revealed a faint smell of rotten eggs, indicating clearly poor water quality. After washing our faces with tap water, both my travel companion and I experienced redness, small rashes, and itchiness, which did not occur at any other hotel in Thailand. As this water is used for daily washing and showering, such unstable water quality not only affects the experience but also raises concerns about hygiene and safety. **IV. Inconvenient Transportation:** The hotel is located on a relatively steep hillside. It takes at least 10 minutes to walk to the flat main road, making it inconvenient to access convenience stores, restaurants, and transportation. This is not very friendly for independent travelers."

"I was very satisfied with my stay at The Arch Phuket Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights was the New Year’s Eve celebration — the hotel provided a complimentary dinner with a salmon set, which was delicious and very generous. We also received a small gift, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast on January 1st was also very special and different from the usual hotel breakfast — it was incredibly tasty and impressive. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from Old Town, and there is no 7-Eleven nearby, so you need to walk some distance to find one. Other than that, everything was great. I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel."

"This hotel is nestled in the mountains, so while it's not the most convenient to get to, it offers a peaceful retreat. The staff are great, and the overall facilities are good. I highly recommend the Pad Thai at the Talay restaurant in the lobby – it was the best I had on this trip out of three different places! The sea view from the room is beautiful. My only minor complaints are that the AC can only be turned on or off, with no temperature control, which is a bit inconvenient as it gets too cold when on and too warm when off. Also, there's a slight issue with the shower's temperature control; it's almost impossible to find a middle ground between scorching hot and freezing cold, so I ended up having to angle the showerhead as high as it would go."

"Location of the hotel was on top of a hill where you need to take a lift to go up to their lobby to check in Bell service,receptionist and Fnb staff service was friendly. We stay at a honeymoon suite where there is a big jacuzzi at the balcony with good privacy. They also provide a small bottle of shower gel for you to make up the bubble in the jacuzzi. Room was nicely decorated with rose petal and towel arts. However, room amenities was very basic for a suite room. They only provide 2 bottle of drinking water and a pack of chips. It was too stingy for a guest that pay more than 5000 baht for 1 night stay. The next day I was staying in Amari Patong and their amenities are way better. We take a room with a breakfast with a perception that this is a Gourmet hotel. However, it was a great disappointment. Breakfast was very basic and no variety."

"The facilities are really old. The air conditioning vents were black, looking like they'd never been cleaned, and the filter was loose, causing a huge amount of noise! The refrigerator also made a loud noise when it started up. I had to unplug the fridge and turn off the AC at night just to sleep, otherwise, I'd definitely need earplugs. The room key operates the electricity, so when you take the key out, the power cuts off. This meant returning to a hot and humid room, which was completely unacceptable. The room was cleaned reasonably well, and the pools weren't crowded. The area was quiet for Kata standards. However, the balcony faced a construction site, so there was dust. Hand soap, toothbrushes, and slippers were not provided. The face towels were yellow and old. On the upside, the water pressure was good and the hairdryer was powerful."

"Excellent hotel! You can tell it used to be a premium establishment. We really appreciated the in-room jacuzzi, and the pool on the property is heated. They even drive you around the grounds. No mosquitoes or flies at all! We saw squirrels jumping on the balcony :) We really enjoyed our stay. There's a large Tops supermarket just a 2-minute walk away, along with a huge kids' play area with trampolines and lots of cafes."

"I had such a great stay at The Kee Resort & Spa and would absolutely recommend it. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the action near Bangla Road, steps from everything. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the pool area is such a vibe, and overall the atmosphere is fun and lively. The staff were also lovely and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside is the noise — you’ll sometimes hear people in the hallways late at night (we’re talking 4am energy 😅), and the street noise can be loud, especially during pool parties or busy nights. They do provide earplugs, which is thoughtful, but honestly they don’t completely block out the noise. That said, it really comes with the territory when you choose to stay right in the middle of Bangla Road. If you’re looking for total silence, this isn’t the spot — but if you want to be in the centre of everything, it’s perfect. Overall, we loved it and I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Phuket!"
