This hotel truly deserves five stars. The front desk service is top-notch; there's always a golf buggy to take you to and from, and they even remember your room number when you return to the hotel each day. The breakfast is excellent, with fresh food and a wide variety of choices. The restaurant staff even remembered what coffee I drank on the first day and asked if I wanted the same one every day after! On the first day of check-in, they prepare fruit and snacks, and the night before departure, they send a cake and a thoughtful card. The room is incredibly clean and tidy; the bathroom is wiped dry every day during housekeeping, not a single drop of water left. The cleaning staff even clean barefoot in the room and were so meticulous, placing a towel to organize all my skincare products on top – truly attentive! I had a wonderful holiday here!

The staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service. Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately. The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak. The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!

Phuket's top choice! I picked this place because I didn't want to deal with the hassle and sun exposure of island hopping, and it was absolutely amazing. The room layouts are very well-planned, and the overall resort vibe is fantastic! When checking in, there's a separate reception area where they go through all the hotel details with you in a very attentive, almost 'kneeling' manner. We stayed at The Surin before this, and this place is even better! The service is also exceptional! It's truly a great spot to just relax and unwind. Wow, I'll definitely be back!

I stayed here ten years ago. Perhaps due to some Chinese superstitions, there weren't many Chinese guests, and breakfast was primarily Western-style. Of course, the room facilities can't compare to newly opened hotels in China, given that this is an established resort. Aside from that, the resort ambiance was fantastic. On the day we checked in, which was my child's birthday, they thoughtfully sent a birthday cake while we were out – a nice little surprise. The hotel is situated in a quiet yet central location in Patong. The pool is huge, offering expansive views directly facing the sea. On clear days, you can watch the sunset from the pool. It's separated from the beach by just a small road, making it very convenient for beach activities or simply relaxing. We stayed in a swim-up room for two nights, which felt more like a private pool. However, with kids, we preferred the main pool, mainly for the better views. We basically spent our days by the pool and evenings at the beach. There's a good massage place and restaurant right by the hotel's main entrance. They're next to each other, and the restaurant, belonging to the neighboring hotel, has a trendy, Instagrammable vibe and is popular with many foreigners. If the hotel breakfast isn't to your liking, you can have brunch there; we ate there several times and also had massages for a few days straight. This trip, we stayed in both Karon and Patong, but next time, I'd only choose Patong – it's much more convenient for going out and exploring.

A luxurious trip! The hotel seamlessly blends into nature, offering constant views of blue skies and white clouds, with butterflies and birds fluttering by. You can also catch the sunrise. The accommodation is beautiful and spotless, with a wealth of resort facilities. I wish I could have stayed a few more days!

This is a wonderful hotel for a vacation with friends and family. We had a two-room suite. Housekeeping was daily. Everything needed for cooking was available. The ongoing construction around didn't bother us; it was quiet. The grounds were green and cozy. The hotel itself was peaceful. Breakfasts were delicious, varied, and included plenty of fruits. Lunch and dinner were à la carte. The beach within walking distance isn't suitable for long stays – it's a wild, undeveloped beach. Walking there is inconvenient because there's no pedestrian zone, but a shuttle bus is provided. We ended up taking a 10-minute taxi ride to a beach club on Bang-Tao. Near the hotel, there's a 7/11, massage services, and several restaurants. We would gladly return. ♥️

- If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay, this hotel in Cape Panwa is a great choice. The area is quiet and not crowded, with calm and clean sea views. The hotel itself has a solid and well-maintained structure, and the beach is just a few steps away no more than five steps from the hotel! - The breakfast was quite good, and I was lucky enough to get a room with a beautiful sea view. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. I would definitely give full marks to the staff for their hospitality and service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I stayed on the third floor, so perhaps the water pressure was not as strong as on the lower floors. The room was well equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, I noticed some stains that looked like they had not been properly cleaned, particularly on the blanket and the countertop. it was still a little disappointing and did not look good for a five-star hotel. - Overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay, especially because of the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful location, and excellent staff service. :)

We booked a pool-view room, and it was great. The layout and design were very good. Although it's not huge at just over 40 square meters, it was quite comfortable for two adults and one child. The front desk and concierge staff were all very polite and had warm smiles. The breakfast spread was extensive and served until 11 am, which really added to the holiday vibe. There weren't many Chinese guests. My husband commented that at breakfast, you could see people of different skin tones, confirming that the hotel was indeed full of international guests. To be honest, the pool isn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for the kids to play in for two days. There's also a small sandpit next to the pool. The biggest surprise was the kids' club! It even had a ball pit and tons of toys. Our child's favorite place each day wasn't the pool, but the kids' club. The staff there were very responsible; they'd confirm with parents whether each child was allowed to leave on their own when entering, and required a sign-in and sign-out every time, which made us feel very secure. Free bicycles were also provided, so you could cycle to 7-Eleven for supplies. Of course, there were some downsides. The beach waves were indeed quite strong, so you could only splash around by the shore. It's also true that it's far from town; 7-Eleven isn't within walking distance. To get around, you either need a taxi or a bicycle. There are also wild massage parlors next to the hotel beach offering massages for 500 baht an hour, as well as two Thai restaurants. They're more expensive than outside but cheaper than the hotel, and the food was decent.

Spectacular views of the sea from the rooms make this resort a winner for feelings of peace and solitude. My room included a ceiling fan and a separate rain shower next to the bath tub. A massive free breakfast buffet starts the day for most guests, with changing options on a daily basis. Before breakfast I walked down the steep driveway to the private beach to swim either in the sea or the small pool next to it. At 7 am there is nobody around. One morning I took out a kayak (one hour free) which had stunning panoramic views. There are two swimming pools by the resort’s main building and both are delightful for swimming and relaxing. Nothing much to do in the evening and the TV channel selection could be expanded with movie channels (e.g., HBO, Cinemax), educational channels like Discovery Asia, and nature channels like BBC Earth and Love Nature. I partook in a 90 minute herbal pack massage which was a bit pricy but very professional. Both lunch and dinner menus have sufficient variety of dishes and food quality was good. Staff were always helpful. In summary, Supalai Scenic Bay Resort is a wonderfully serene experience at a very reasonable room price.          

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Sunset Beach Resort. The facilities are a bit dated, but they are well maintained, which I truly appreciate. You can tell the resort takes good care of what it has. The location is generally fine, though the beach directly in front of the resort isn’t the best. Patong Beach is about a 300+ meter walk away, which is manageable, just something to note for guests who expect a beachfront swimming spot. The only part that slightly affected our experience was the shuttle service — not a big issue, but a memorable one. On 1 February, around 5:30 PM, we informed the front desk that we needed the 6:30 PM shuttle to Bangla Street. We even confirmed it twice and were told to sit and wait, as the staff would notify us when the shuttle arrived. We made sure they knew exactly where we were waiting. By 7:00 PM, after no update, we went back to the front desk only to be told that the shuttle had already left. The staff apologized and admitted she had overlooked us, and arranged the next shuttle. Nothing serious — just an unexpected extra 30 minutes of “resort relaxation time” we hadn’t planned for. 😊 Still, aside from this hiccup, the stay was comfortable, and with a bit more attention to shuttle coordination, the experience would be even better.
