Hotel Tokyo Garden Palace

Traveling with my child for their graduation trip, choosing this hotel was such a smart decision. It's incredibly close to Akihabara, the Hijiribashi bridge (a filming location for Suzume no Tojimari), and the University of Tokyo, all within a 10-15 minute walk. Ochanomizu subway station is also conveniently nearby. This makes shopping, dining, and exploring all very easy. The hotel itself is also excellent; the rooms are spacious, and being on a high floor means it's very quiet. The in-room facilities are comprehensive. The staff are all very polite. Breakfast leans Western, but they also offer warm options like rice, congee, and miso soup. I really love this neighborhood and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tokyo!

This is my third stay this year, and I always choose this hotel when I visit Tokyo. Hotels in central Tokyo generally have small rooms, sometimes so small you can barely open a suitcase, but this hotel doesn't have that problem. There's also a large windowsill where you can put lots of clothes. And unlike other hotels with their modular bathrooms, the bathtub is long and deep—perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of sightseeing in Tokyo! There are also many restaurants, convenience stores, and drugstores nearby, and it's very convenient to get to Akihabara!

The hotel reception staff were very welcoming; they immediately used a translator when I spoke Chinese, making communication seamless. The hotel beds were new and comfortable, and the pajamas were also nice. The hotel was cleaned daily, and the sheets and duvet covers were changed every three days. The air conditioning was a bit old and kept blowing cold air even after it was turned off, but two tall men at the front desk immediately came to help us solve the problem; they were exceptionally warm and polite. The hotel is located between Ochanomizu Station and Hirotsubashi Station, about a 6-minute walk. There's a 7-Eleven to the left of the hotel exit, and Akihabara is just ahead; there's a FamilyMart to the right; Seijo Ishii Supermarket is on the southeast side of Hirotsubashi Exit, B1. The south-facing room faces the street and is a bit noisy. It's an older hotel with a new look; I had a good experience and would stay here again.
