To avoid crowds during the Spring Festival, we arrived promptly at 8:00 AM at the core scenic spot of Weizhou Island. It's about 1.5 kilometers from Dishui Pavilion to the entrance, so we opted for the sightseeing bus (20 yuan per person). The lighthouse is right there after you get off. The scenic area is a circular path; you follow it, taking photos at each point, and finally exiting from the entrance. It's truly spectacular! Waves crash against the rocks, sometimes splashing up, eliciting gasps of amazement from visitors. Be sure to take photos at the volcanic crater and the rock formations resembling dried-up sea rocks. Overall, it's not too strenuous; a complete loop takes about two and a half hours. Free admission for journalists.
