Sofitel Haikou

The hotel service was truly top-notch. The front desk staff handled check-in efficiently and with great patience, and whenever we needed anything, they were prompt and attentive. The staff were warm and friendly, the breakfast offered a good variety with decent taste, the room had a stunning view, and the amenities were complete. It was an ultra-comfortable experience from start to finish.

The hotel offers fantastic views, with Haikou's cityscape visible right from the window. The rooms are bright and airy during the day with a direct, bird's-eye view of the ocean, and the sunset in the evening is incredibly photogenic. The infinity pool also boasts great scenery, and the front desk staff provided friendly service. Overall, this hotel is a wonderful place for a relaxing vacation.

The room had amazing lighting and fantastic views. Being on a high floor, we could overlook the city and ocean, and the space felt clean, bright, and completely odor-free. The soundproofing was decent, making for a quiet and peaceful night. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. After a long and tiring journey, staying here made for a really restful and comfortable sleep.

The hotel gym is on the 5th floor and is quite spacious, with the swimming pool on the same level. It's very convenient to go for a quick swim right after a workout, and the locker room even features a steam room, which is great for a good sweat. The receptionist who handled my check-in was efficient and gave a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities. Perfect for balancing a business trip with a fitness routine.

After taking in the old street views and enjoying some local snacks in the evening, the whole experience was cozy and relaxing—perfect for a short getaway.

The breakfast at Sofitel Haikou offers a great variety of dishes and tastes pretty good. The lobby boasts an amazing ocean view with a strong French ambiance. It's not far from the Cloud Library, making it a prime spot for watching the sunset in the evening. The young man at the front desk provided fantastic service and recommended quite a few hidden gem local spots.

Highly recommend this hotel! The room has a well-planned, airy layout with a strong sense of design. I especially love the Hermes orange accents, and it was very clean. The high-floor sea-view lobby is bright and luxuriously decorated. With convenient transportation all around, it's super easy to visit all of Haikou's attractions!

It's very close to the Hainan Science and Technology Museum and a short taxi ride to the duty-free mall, making our trips out and back completely hassle-free. Overall, the stay was exceptionally thoughtful and caring.

Whenever I visit Haikou, the Sofitel is always my first choice! The young man at the front desk was efficient and fast with the check-in process—no long waits, and his service attitude was fantastic. The rooms are clean and tidy, it's convenient for shopping and dining in the surrounding area, and the hotel buffet is very reasonably priced. It offers incredible value for money among hotels in Haikou!
