Hotel Indigo PARIS - OPERA by IHG

The room had a strong odor, like a freshly renovated place, which triggered my allergies. My eyes were red for days, but as soon as I left, they cleared right up! I was also coughing, and the fumes kept me from sleeping well at night. Plus, the bathroom had no ventilation, so after using the toilet, the smell was unbearable!

The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. The service was excellent; check-in was really quick. The bedding in the room was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the whole place was spotless.

The hotel front desk was unattended at night; staff only came out slowly after I rang the bell. There was no hot water for showers on the third and fourth mornings. I told the front desk before going out on the third morning to check, but there was still no hot water on the fourth morning. This kind of management is ridiculous, especially considering the high price. The refrigerator in the room smelled terrible; I wonder if it hadn't been used in a long time.

The room was clean, the facilities were good, and the location was excellent, making shopping super convenient. The breakfast selection was also very French, and the service was great. The only downside was that part of the room was under construction; hopefully, it will be finished by the time I visit, making for an even better experience.

The location is great, the rooms are spacious, and the style is artistic. However, the breakfast selection is rather limited. The receptionist and the cafeteria staff were both very nice.

Taxi drivers can't drop you off at the hotel entrance; you have to walk about 100 meters inside. The lobby and rooms are quite small, which is understandable given Paris's high property prices. Service was unremarkable with limited interaction. The restaurant had a limited selection, but they did offer croissants, coffee, fruit, and fried eggs. The location is convenient; Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are just a few minutes' walk away, and the Louvre and Notre Dame are also not far by taxi.
