Toshiharu Ryokan

This is a wonderful hotel for immersing yourself in Japanese traditions. It's decorated very authentically and beautifully. The rooms have beds, air conditioning, and tea-making facilities. The toilet is shared, but there aren't many guests, so it's always available. The entire property and the restrooms are very clean. Upon reservation, you can use the baths (like an onsen, but in wooden tubs), one larger and one smaller. It's a unique experience. The breakfast is fantastic and varied. And of course, the staff are incredibly friendly. Thank you to the hotel for your hospitality!

This is a very Japanese-style hotel, with the entire building over a century old. If you want to experience the Japanese tatami style, you must stay a night there. The staff were very friendly and could communicate in English. The breakfast was also very Japanese and delicious. The only thing to note is that the hotel has a shared bathhouse, which can be inconvenient. You should contact the hotel staff in advance regarding bathing times.

Fantastic stay in a traditional Japanese ryokan. If you want to have the experience, choose this hotel. The rooms are a dream, the courtyard garden is simply wonderful. There is also a small corner for smokers on the premises, so no wandering around. The whole hotel, including the private bathroom, which you get half an hour per person per day, was impressive. But the staff is also amazing, super friendly, super accommodating, all in all an incredible service. All the pictures online here cannot even begin to reflect the magic that surrounds this place. I had the Japanese deluxe room with a garden view and can recommend it to anyone who wants to feel old Japan, or is simply an anime & manga fan and wants to live like the protagonists from our favorite series.
