Yansha Aviation Flight Camp offers tethered balloon rides in Yangshuo. Before going, it’s important to call and check whether the balloon can operate, as strong winds make it unsafe to fly.We originally booked for the afternoon, but the staff called us at 11:00 AM to come earlier because the wind was calm and conditions were perfect for flying.The balloon ride lasts about 10 minutes. During the flight, a drone flies around to capture photos and videos. You can purchase the drone video file for 120 RMB. The balloon rises to approximately the height of a 4–5 story building. It’s not as scary as it might seem.If you’re visiting Yangshuo, this is definitely an experience worth trying.
