A prisoner of war named "Heifu" survived desperate circumstances thanks to his tile-making skills, as Qin law granted him the opportunity to earn merit and gain citizenship. While participating in the construction of the royal capital, Heifu was ennobled for saving the emperor from an assassin's blade. Driven by the ideal of "eternal peace" for the Qin empire, Heifu ultimately fell in the campaign for unification, becoming one of the countless unnamed Qin soldiers immortalized as terracotta warriors guarding Chinese civilization. The stubborn resilience of old Qin people, their tenacity for reform, and their vision of "uniting all under heaven" ultimately forged the enduring spirit that has sustained the Chinese nation for millennia.

Show More ReviewsThis performance is definitely one if the hightlight of my Xi'an trip! To be honest, there are so many great shows to watch and i only have limited time so i have to choose one and i never regret choosing "The Great Qin" show. The production was 100 / 100 and blew my mind, the AV, the storyline, the cheography and moving stage, all of it was completely ON THE POINT. I love the "Assasin Act" which the performance moved so fast, my eyes couldnt catch up, together with the rain and thunder effect, it was very immersive experience! It was such a shame that you cannot take photo during the performance but i guess this is to have "surprise element". 💡Tips: Buy on trip.com and it is fuss-free to exchange your ticket at the counter since it tagged to your passport. It is not near any of the attraction and it is a isolated building by itself, the building is massive by the way. There is a mall 10mins drive away, can grab your dinner there! Also choose Cat A or B if you have the budget.Trust me
