Lido Beach Resort - Sarasota

A wonderful resort! Loved its location and the free trolly to St Armands Circle! Felt safe and comfortable the entire trip!

I did not have an ocean view and for almost $700 a night, i felt i should have. Resort was clean. I loved having the restaurant, tiki bar, adult pool and ocean beach easy to access.

My wife and I were really impressed with our experience. The service was outstanding, from the valet to the front desk to the Tiki bar staff and servers at Drift. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

This is a beautiful property. Staff was very professional. The drift restaurant was amazing. Overall I would recommend this resort and we will be back.

Nice property but over rated over priced for what they offered between resort fees then having to pay extra to use resort amenities.

The day was so so. Staff outside at the bar was Great. Staff bring items to the room never happened. For the price rooms not up to standard AC would not run properly

The king bed in the one bedroom suite was amazing. Is it possible for you to tell me what the mattress is? Hot Tubs were just the right temp :) We wished you dad a spa.

Beginning the day before we arrived, the staff was so attentive. They accommodated my last minute request for a dinner reservation, and the location for our room. We stayed on the upper level of the Tiki Tower. Room was spacious. Housekeeping great. We would have loved a balcony, but we booked late and only Tiki Tower rooms were available. The motel style entrance was different from what we’re used to, but it worked out fine. Easy access to pool, lobby, Tiki Bar, and beach. Pool area had plenty of chairs, and excellent food/beverage service. Lots of umbrellas for shade too. Music was even great! Beach was lovely, but there was a large pipe running the length of the beach. So you can’t see the water from the beach chairs. You can still walk over the pipe to the shoreline. Beautiful sunset views and dolphins too. We ate at Tiki Bar and Drift - both excellent. The live music at the beach near Tiki Bar was fun too. The shuttle to and from St Armand’s was also super convenient.

Lido Beach resort was exactly what we were looking for. I don’t love the sand but we wanted to stay on the beach at a resort with a pool and bar/restaurant. I would give the staff a 10 star rating if I could. They were all incredible from front desk to housekeeping to pool/bar and restaurant. Food also more than 5 stars. Tiki bar, Drift restaurant great food. I’m very picky about restaurants and eating out. I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed the quality of the food. We dined at Drift three nights during our stay. The room was clean and everything we needed. There is no wow factor to the room. Our view was of the atrium area which is nice.
