Also, if you aren’t that interested in history the trip won’t take too much time (approx. 2-3 hours without the transfer) In all 3 pits there are AC so it’s not hot in there. I went with a grandmother, if you are worried about walking too much - there are wheeling chairs with service staff for 150-200RMB.
