Hilton Tokyo Odaiba

The hotel is in Odaiba and directly connected to the station, but transportation within Odaiba itself isn't the best. The front desk service was quite good, but unfortunately, the facilities are really quite poor. The room felt old, and the soundproofing was a concern, so the experience wasn't great.

The hotel is a bit old, but the rooms are spacious and come with a balcony that offers views of the Rainbow Bridge and the bay. The front desk service was good too. Unfortunately, I visited during a Japanese holiday, so there was a bit of a wait at the breakfast restaurant, but the location is convenient for getting to other parts of Tokyo.

Conveniently connected to Odaiba Station, making it easy to walk to various attractions. Department stores, convenience stores, and a shopping mall are all nearby.

The hotel's hygiene was terrible, there were bugs in the room, and the bedding was unclean. Most of the guests were Indian and Westerners. When checking in, I met a man named Peng at the front desk whose ID badge showed his name. He could speak Chinese with a Northeastern accent. His service was awful; he was sarcastic and assigned us a terrible room near the overpass. Even though there were other room types available on the platform, he claimed there were none, even when I asked for an upgrade. He really brought down the hotel's score. After communicating with a Ctrip staff member the next day, we quickly paid the difference and were moved to a better room. This low rating and bad review are specifically for Peng at the front desk! Because apart from him, all the other local staff I encountered at the front desk and with the concierge were much better!

I've stayed at the Hilton Tokyo Bay and the Hilton Osaka Umeda before, both of which were good experiences. However, the Odaiba location this time left the deepest impression. It's directly connected to the Odaiba Station on the Yurikamome Line, and with Aqua City and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza nearby, dining and shopping are incredibly convenient. From the hotel, you can see the Statue of Liberty and the Rainbow Bridge, and the views are stunning both day and night.

This hotel offers direct access to the Yurikamome Line's Odaiba Station from its second floor, and is within walking distance of the life-sized Gundam statue and Odaiba Marine Park. A complimentary shuttle bus to Disneyland is provided, and Haneda Airport is just a 20-minute drive away, making transportation highly convenient. All room types feature private balconies, with ocean view rooms directly facing the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay's night skyline. The room sizes significantly exceed those of similarly priced hotels in central Tokyo. For families with children, amenities for kids are proactively provided upon check-in, ensuring excellent comfort during your stay. The facilities are well-maintained, and both Chinese and English services are seamless. There's a complimentary gym and multiple restaurants on-site. The drawbacks include the hotel's age and the fact that the pool requires an additional fee. It's also a bit further from the central city shopping districts. Overall, this hotel is ideal for guests who prioritize exploring Odaiba, appreciate scenic views and spacious accommodations. High-floor ocean view rooms are highly recommended.
