Asakusa View Hotel Annex Rokku

Excellent value for money! The location is super convenient, very close to Senso-ji Temple. The decor is quite unique and chic, and the room was surprisingly spacious. Breakfast was decent. We arrived quite late, so we missed the afternoon tea, but overall, highly recommended!

It was a bit expensive. We booked two rooms for four people at 2300, but I guess it would be cheaper if booked closer to the date! The cosmetic samples were great. The location isn't as good as other hotels for Asakusa, you still have to walk a bit.

The hotel is new, clean, and in a prime location, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The room was quite spacious, and the value for money is excellent.

The facilities are great, and the service information is quite comprehensive. Breakfast has a really nice ceremonial feel to it, which is excellent. The location is super convenient, and it's suitable for families. Overall, it's a good fit.

The room was decent, especially since it had three beds, and the sofa bed was very comfortable.

The hotel's location is super convenient, and the supermarket across the street has really cheap stuff. I bought two bottles of Japanese whiskey, and they were much cheaper than at the airport duty-free shop!

The hotel is conveniently located near Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express line, though a bit further from Asakusa Station on the Asakusa line. If you're coming from the airport via the Asakusa line, it's about a 15-20 minute walk, which is still generally manageable. It's only a few minutes' walk from Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, so you can catch the iconic red lantern gate with very few people around if you're an early bird or a night owl. SkyTree isn't far either, within walking distance. We booked a room with three beds specifically for a comfortable sleep without feeling cramped, and it was indeed very comfortable and quiet. The staff during check-in and when we asked questions were very friendly. However, during check-out, we encountered a staff member who appeared to be from Southeast Asia; when we asked about luggage storage, they just pointed us to the self-storage area. That wasn't a great experience. (I've met many excellent staff members who seemed to be of Southeast Asian descent throughout my trip, but this one at the hotel was an exception). The hotel's 10th floor is open to guests from 3 PM to 10 PM, offering some snacks and drinks, and you can also get a view of SkyTree.

I absolutely loved this place! Downstairs, there are all sorts of convenience stores and supermarkets, plus Ichiran for breakfast, so you'll never have to worry about food or drinks. Getting a taxi is easy, and Senso-ji Temple feels like your own backyard. I stayed for 7 days and couldn't have been happier. The喫茶店 (kissaten) next door, run by an old Japanese couple, has amazing curry rice too!

The room was quite clean and spacious enough for two large suitcases to be open simultaneously without hindering movement. The front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly and spoke softly. The front desk staff's English was good, so communication wasn't an issue. Most importantly, the location is incredibly convenient. It's only a 5-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple and less than 5 minutes to the nearby TX Asakusa Station. Overall, I highly recommend it; it offers great value for money.
