Reviews: Copenhagen: Electric Canal Tour with Guide and Hot Drink
Guest User2026-03-30
They boat tour was good and informative to a point thought there would of been more knowledge and interaction that comes with been a small group. We was told the bare basics as we went round. There was no hot drink at all offered to us perhaps it was in room pior to boarding that we couldn't get into as so many people was there at the same time for the same thing. There was a bouns of a blanket for each customer on the boat which was a blessing as a extra layer between the wind.

Just did the audio tour and it was fantastic! There was a lot of great information that is more detailed than the in-person tours get. This tour goes into the history of the buildings and provides great details into Danish royal historv.

Our guide, Diana, was FABULOUS!! We happened to be the only participants for the tour that morning, so she tailored the route specific to our interests. Along with the notable historical sights and local trivia, she also shared lots of interesting information about everyday life in Copenhagen, the educational, economic, and political systems, along with general Danish cultural norms. Note—although we are frequent bike riders in the US, this was our first time riding without helmets, and we felt perfectly safe. (Helmets are optional, but they were offered to us by our guide.) HIGHLY RECOMMEND this experience!! Thank you, Diana, you were absolutely wonderful!!!😊

Reviews: Copenhagen Contrasts with Coffee, Cake & Culture

This tour was the cherry on top for me. Michael’s knowledge of Copenhagen and showing me the comparison of Christenshavn was fantastic. It was great to have a perspective from a local. I was able to hear more personal stories about Danes’ life that is often lost in the group tour. We walked by The Church of Our Savior, walked through the markets in the center of Christenshavn, and Michael showed me the art around the town and explained the story behind the artist’s rendering. I love nature. So, I enjoyed walking on trails by the canal and seeing swans. We ended the tour at the Royal Opera House. It was breathtaking to see the intricate details. The coffee shop we went to was adorable and the apple tart from the Royal Opera House cafe was flavorful and I loved the crust. If you have an extra day in Copenhagen or want a tour that is not your typical city tour, I highly recommend this tour! TAK!
