For this price, joining Tour Route 2 is excellent value. Plus, you only need to book one or two days in advance to confirm your Machu Picchu ticket, which is quite impressive. The guides at the site are very professional, whether helping with photos or providing explanations. If your English is decent, I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Eduardo was amazing he knew everything about everything. Everything felt very organised with all the tickets sorted for us before the trip we basically just had to show up and learn. We communicated through WhatsApp so we could ask questions and confirm details easily. The route itself is gorgeous and some of the best views I’ve ever seen.

If you only have a day to go to Machu Picchu this is a good option, just make sure you know all the logistics ahead of time cause you have a lot of transportation to take.

Great tour! It started at the fountain in the Plaza. We traveled by van to the various archaeological sites. Our guide, Luis, explained a lot and patiently answered all our questions. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate at the end, so the viewpoints weren't worth it. Still, highly recommended!


