I recently started using eSIM, and it's so convenient! Wasn't able to connect in China. Not sure what the reason was. Also it requires connecting to activate in the desired country.

I bought this for my wife, who's phone didn't have the Trip app on it. By following the steps given I was still able to get this e-SIM to work. It was great and we never had any problems in China, Vietnam and Cambodia.
