Reviews: Llangollen: Aqueduct Kayak or Canoe Cruise

We had a great time on the Llangollen Aqueduct Kayak/Canoe Cruise. It was such a unique and memorable experience, and paddling across the aqueduct with the surrounding scenery was absolutely beautiful. The whole trip was well organized, relaxing, and a lot of fun. Our tour guide was great, friendly, helpful, and made the experience even more enjoyable from start to finish. The only slight disappointment was that we had booked four individual kayaks but ended up in two-person canoes instead. Our guide explained that it appeared to be an issue with the ticketing system, and somehow our booking came through as canoes. Even so, we still had a really enjoyable experience and made the most of it. Overall, it was a fantastic way to see the area from a different perspective, and we’re really glad we did it. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Llangollen.

We had a fantastic morning paddle boarding in Derwent Waters. Our activity leader Pete was really kind and friendly. He had a good sense of humour and was easy to talk to. His guidance and advice on how to paddle board was excellent. He played games and joined us with the other family in a friendly and interactive way. We had a lovely time, it was very relaxing with absolutely stunning scenery. Would highly recommend and would love to do it again!

Andy was a fantastic guide. He took plenty of time for us and explained everything clearly. He knows a lot about the history of the area. We had a wonderful time. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!
