I liked everything, the tour was very interesting, the buffet was good, there was plenty to choose from, the nature was super, the only inconvenience was the huge number of tourists.

SST the Dolphin and its crew were very friendly and provided meticulous service, especially Finn, who even helped peel shrimps. We avoided the crowded Surprise Cave, but still enjoyed the beauty of Halong Bay. The feeling of kayaking and passing through two sea caves was still very magical.

Halong Bay is definitely worth a trip! The tour, which included hotel pickup in Hanoi, a trip to Halong, and a stay on "Le Journey," was well organized overall. We had somewhat misguided expectations when the "manager" announced a "Vietnamese cooking class," but we ended up rolling pre-prepared ingredients into summer rolls. Another was the announcement of a "hike" where we took a bus to the "Hospital Cave," which we briefly visited, and then took the bus back to the ship. All in all, though, a highly recommended tour!
