The phone settings instructions to get data roaming to work didn’t match my phones interface, which made it very confusing to get my eSIM to start working. I am using an Australian iPhone 17 with iOS 26.2.★

I first tried the Canadian eSIM on my own. When I opened my email for the first time, I had already received the email sent by Ctrip. I happily opened it, and the instructions in the email were very detailed. I installed the eSIM by myself in just a few minutes. I think all countries in the world should support eSIM, as it would make things much more convenient for us.
