Vardzia

One of Georgia's many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Vardzia is an ancient 12th century monestary that is build right into the side of a cliff. Monks still live here and can be seen walking from room to room of this cave city. It's a magical place that feels forgotten by time and that is immensely peaceful set on the Mtkvari River.

Without doing any strategy, I rushed to Tbilisi and went directly to the travel agency. The picture of Vardzia cliff cave attracted me. Vardzia is located 300 kilometers west of the Georgian capital Tbilisi, 5 hours drive from Tbilisi, no high speed, all the way road, beautiful mountains and green waters, often can see scalpers eating grass on the hillside, the scenery is picturesque. Regarding the cost of attraction tickets: 7 Larry (RMB 17.5 yuan), but the scenic spot is remote and the traffic is inconvenient.
