渭南松赞干布
The Temple of Baalbek is the most famous monument in Lebanon, located nearly 100 kilometers northeast of Beirut, Lebanon's capital, about 1160 meters above sea level. More than 2,000 years ago, the Romans built a huge religious complex and became one of the sacrifice centers of the time. There are four temples built here to worship different gods, the outer wall porch and altar are built of boulders, of which Jupiter Temple is the largest, but the damage is serious, a broken and ruined wall, the original building around 52 tall stone pillars, the beam above carved lion head, now only 6, Standing alone in the ruins. The temple is relatively intact, with various fine vegetable melons and fruit patterns carved on the walls and stone pillars.

Lebanon has a lot of Christians, so there are a lot of churches and a lot of Christian sites. This is a Christian tree carving on a snowy mountain. Cedars are the pattern of the Lebanese flag. This country is on one side of the sea and the mountain. According to the locals, you can drive to the beach for swimming in the afternoon and drive to the mountain for skiing in the morning. The snow in the mountains is very thick and it is slippery to walk. But the road is not long, half an hour is enough to go back and forth. When I ran to the top of the mountain, a few cedars of light were carved into the crucifixion of Christ, and it was said that they grew naturally.

The ancient and quiet Byblos, commonly known by locals: Jebal (translation), a small town that was inhabited very early, and people still live in the ancient city. It looks peaceful and beautiful, invincible, and proud of independence. It is a place I love to come to. Find a cafe by the sea and sit on the open air. Have a cup of coffee and watch the sunset fall into the Mediterranean...

Museums
雨丝风片
When I was a child, I accidentally found a bookstore near my home, "Guiberen Prose Poetry Select", when the bookstore owner said that you can't understand, or buy a teaching auxiliary book. The problem is that it is a bookstore near the university. The teaching and auxiliary books are all GRE, TOEFL, advanced mathematics, etc., which is even more incomprehensible to me as a child. I still like this Gibran prose poem, and I bought it back to read it page by page. It seems that I know the words and I don't understand anything. Growing up, I learned that Gibran's stuff was for liberal arts research. It was a magical bookstore, but it was no longer there. But it was the first time Gibran took me to Lebanon, sand and foam, and always wanted to see where Gibran's poems were, so I came to Lebanon. Of course, the Gibran Museum is going to worship. No photos are allowed inside the museum. The museum is built in a cave. At the bottom is Gibran's coat. The museum displays a large number of Gibran paintings and calligraphy. The museum's souvenir shop has Gibran books selling various texts. I bought a book and a set of postcards made of Gibran paintings and sent them to friends and family. I didn't expect Lebanon Post to be super efficient and received it in a week.

Markets
landmark
雨丝风片
Byblos's market is on the main road next to the Crusader Castle, a must-have for visitors. The market here is probably the most commercial market in Lebanon, selling tourist souvenirs and the like. Most of the souvenirs are estimated to have come from the small commodity market in Yiwu, China. If you want to see the real Arab market, I think the market in Tripoli, the northern Lebanese city, is more local.

Caves

There are many mountains in Lebanon, and there are many caves in the mountains. This is the most famous. Jeda cave is divided into two holes. Take the cable car to see the hole above, and then you can take the small train and play the cave below. Photos are not allowed in the cave. (These pictures are the landscape outside the cave.) Mandatory storage of mobile phones and packages. The cave below has water, and it seems that the water is not shallow, and you have to take a boat to enter the cave. There are not many artificial landscapes in the cave, and there are no lights, which are relatively primitive.

Tripoli, Lebanon, was ruled by the Mamuruk dynasty in the Middle Ages until it was captured by the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century. The Turkish steam bath is popular in the Arab world. The site is the steam bath of the Mamuruk era. Unfortunately, the day I went was a holiday, the iron general closed the door, not allowed to enter the visit.

The cult of immortality is not only popular in China, but at least once there were a large number of religious fans actively cultivating in the caves on the land where Lebanon is today. The place is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Many caves are only legendary, but not found. The monastery, which was opened to the outside world, was later built. It is said that the "fairy man" who lived in the cave was received into the newly built monastery for the elderly.

Wineries/Distilleries
雨丝风片
Despite the onion ban, Lebanon is the only country in the Middle East where alcohol is legally sold, because it is a former French colony. The French have gone, but the impact of their legacy cannot be underestimated, such as the wine industry. Lebanese wines are popular in the Middle East because of their cheap quality. This is a famous brand of Lebanese wine. You can visit the cellar and tasting for free. Of course, if you like you can buy some back home, the same thing domestic prices do not know how many times more than the local.
