#Listen to my travel story During the rule of the last Buddhist dynasty of the Indian subcontinent, the Pala dynasty, many large Buddhist temples were built, one of the largest in the village of Paharpur, Bangladesh. During the reign of King Dharamapala, the second ruler of the Pala dynasty in the 8th century, the 11-hectare square temple was mainly composed of the huge pagoda in the center and the 177 monk houses around it. One of the largest Buddhist monasteries in the southern foot of the Himalayas is now only The remaining base site, and the site left by the huge pagoda is still more than 20 meters high, the bottom is cross-shaped, a total of three layers, the third floor should be a huge spire golden tower. The nobles of the Tibetan Buddhist revival, Adi Gorge, and the great monk Xuanxuan of Datang, have both been here briefly in tin. Somapura Mahavihara Witnessed the prosperity of Mahayana Buddhism in Bangladesh, and more than three centuries after its completion, the magnificent temple began to decline along with Buddhism on the subcontinent, although there is no evidence that the temple has undergone serious damage and havoc. But with the turmoil of the war and the conversion of large numbers of people in Bangladesh, the temple was eventually lost in the dust of time. But it has a huge impact on temple buildings in Myanmar, Java and Cambodia. The monasteries seen in these countries and regions today still have shadows, which is probably why when I see this site in the jungle, The first time I remembered was the Burmese Bagan that I had seen in the photo, and I thought that the golden stupa in the jungle that Xuan Xuan saw must be more magnificent. In 1985, the Buddhist Vidira site of Paharpur was included in the World Heritage List. In order to feel different ruins, I specially chose to stay in the archaeological hut in the ruins for one night. The accommodation conditions of the hut are quite hard and extremely bad, and the benefits are obvious. It is possible to enjoy the entire barren heritage ruins after the scenic spot is closed. The night of the day was very dark. I walked in the silent site and fell. I didn't know which monk's soul joked and tripped me. Although I couldn't see the strange beauty of the moonlight on the site, I accidentally saw many fireflies flying in the dark. The next morning, I was awakened by the noise of birdsong. I rushed to see the site of the lonely pagoda before the tourists arrived. In addition to the vaguely visible architectural characteristics, the only remaining brick carvings on the wall foundation were some old brick carvings, with different content, from ordinary plants and animals. To the Buddhist sky, to the Hindu shrines, the images of different times overlapped, and it is said that after Buddhists, Jain and Hindus were used as temples. Walking and being blocked by a group of sheep dragging their families, these cattle and sheep are recklessly eating grass on the lawns of the World Cultural Heritage, and there are even ducks playing in the water on the grassy grass. Although the protection of cultural relics of the level of World Heritage is really a bit sloppy, But unexpectedly some natural harmony. After walking around, I drank tea with the staff of the scenic spot in the shop at the door, and waited until the museum in the scenic spot opened before going to see it. The museum exhibits ancient cultural relics dug out of the ruins of the site. #World Heritage Tour #Bangladesh #Small Discovery Society #Ancient Site
